What can be made from deodorant caps? Roll-on deodorants: features, types, selection and application
Every woman's bathroom has everything she needs, and even a little more. Let the one who doesn’t have half-empty tubes and jars with cream left on the bottom be the first to raise her hand!

Of course, find them something new and effective application! Let's put things in order in the bathroom together, and at the same time put the remaining cosmetics to good use.
Old cream for... leather bags and shoes
It often happens that even a new purchased cream is not suitable for the face. Don't throw money away now! The first and simplest application is to apply the cream to rough areas such as heels or elbows. The second, less obvious use is to lubricate leather items such as a bag, shoes, belt with the remaining cream (or a new “unsuccessful” cream). It also doesn’t hurt them to “soften up” from time to time.
Body oil - for dry hair ends

What should you do if you were given such oil as a gift, but you don’t want to throw it away or re-gift it? Apply it to the ends of your hair after shampooing. You will be surprised, but this method will make your hair well-groomed in a matter of days! By the way, another way to use it is in the kitchen. Shampoo for lace lingerie

Eau de toilette or perfume as a fragrance in the bathroom
It’s better, of course, to re-gift if you really don’t like the smell of perfume. However, if you have for a long time there's a bottle of leftovers eau de toilette, use it as a fragrance for the bathroom, closet items and bed linen.
Makeup remover... from clothes
Micellar water is also great for removing residue. foundation, powders, mascaras and lipsticks from light-colored items. Apply the product to the contaminated area, rub lightly with your hands, rinse and dry. By the way, rich makeup remover milk will help remove remnants of hair or eyebrow dye from the skin!
Eyebrow balm
Not every hygienic lipstick can cope with dry lips. Besides, when there is very little left, your hand is tempted to throw away the bottle... But wait! Lip balm will perfectly moisturize your eyebrows and make them manageable.
Candles for the sofa
Candles cannot be called cosmetics, but their remains can probably be found in every home. Use them practically: apply a small amount of wax to the legs of a sofa or heavy chair to easily move it without scratching the floor!

Most people apply antiperspirants only to the armpit area and are not aware that their use is much wider.
website I have collected for you unusual ways to use this remedy that, oddly enough, work.
From sweating under the breasts
Happy owners of large breasts in hot weather may not be at all happy with their volume. Yes, yes, this is not a joke! After all, the area under our breasts also sweats and can cause embarrassment due to unpleasant stains when we wear tight-fitting clothes.
To prevent this from happening, apply antiperspirant under your breasts.
For “stale” hair
We are often so busy that we don’t have time to wash our hair.
An antiperspirant will be a temporary salvation from oily roots: just apply small amount per parting- it will absorb excess fat.
To prevent sunglasses from slipping off
In the summer, wearing glasses, our nose bridge actively sweats. This is very annoying, because in this case the glasses tend to leave our nose. In addition, the very feeling of a wet nose is not at all pleasant.
Do the following thing: Before leaving the house Apply a little antiperspirant deodorant to the bridge of your nose in places of contact with glasses.
For unpleasant foot odor
Many people are familiar with the situation when, due to sweaty feet, you prefer not to visit someone, just so as not to take off your shoes in someone else’s house and not blush because of the unpleasant smell.
Fixing this problem is not difficult: just Apply antiperspirant to the inside of your feet and put on your shoes.
Against uncooperative skinny jeans
Skinny jeans are probably in every girl's wardrobe. But sometimes getting into them turns out to be a real challenge. And it’s not always a matter of eating an extra bun: the body can simply sweat due to hot weather or nervousness.
An antiperspirant deodorant will help: apply it to your legs and thighs before starting the process.
Against itching from insect bites
Perhaps the warm season has one drawback - mosquitoes. Most deodorants contain aluminum salts, which perfectly relieves itching and act instantly.
Use deodorant after evening outings in the summer.
For sweating under the knees and on the back
These areas are also very prone to leaving telltale stains on clothes in the summer.
Be proactive: before leaving home Apply antiperspirant deodorant to dry skin under the knees and on the back.
Against sweating above the lip
In a stuffy room or in hot weather above upper lip droplets of sweat appear that the powder cannot cope with. In addition, constantly correcting makeup with its help is not always convenient.
You can do this: apply a small amount of antiperspirant to the area above the upper lip.
When you run out of nail polish remover
Making topiary with your own hands has recently become very fashionable. Moreover, not only mothers and grandmothers, but also their daughters and granddaughters became interested in this type of creativity. Today even men make topiaries, or trees of happiness!
And, of course, each craftswoman (or master) chooses materials for creating topiary to her own taste. Topiaries are made from felt, coffee beans, crepe paper, sisal, balls of yarn, candy, napkins, shells and even money. You never know what you can use to make a decorative tree with a spherical crown!
And I offer you a master class on creating a topiary tree from roll-on deodorant and paper cupcake molds.
Yes, yes! Don't be surprised. The frame for my topiary will be a bottle with a ball of used deodorant:
For work you will also need:
glue gun,
Disposable paper muffin tins with a diameter of 4 cm,
Bamboo skewer,
White acrylic paint,
Decorative napkin,
A piece of foam rubber
A piece of narrow satin ribbon,
Lighter,
Scissors,
Crepe paper,
Cardboard,
Play dough (I use dried play dough, which can no longer be used for its intended purpose),
Glue for decoupage,
Glossy acrylic varnish
You might be asking, how am I going to turn an old roll-on deodorant into a tree of happiness? It's simple: I plan to make a topiary pot from a deodorant cap, and use the ball as a frame for the crown of the tree.
And to begin with, I make several small cuts in the top of the deodorant bottle to remove the ball from it.
These are my “hunting trophies” - a deodorant cap and a ball taken from the bottle - everything has already been thoroughly washed and wiped dry:
My work on creating a topiary can be divided into two main stages: decorating a topiary pot using the decoupage technique and making a topiary crown from paper baking cups.
And first I will talk about how to decorate a topiary pot.
Primer white roll-on deodorant cap acrylic paint. I apply the paint using a piece of foam rubber:
To ensure that the paint evenly covers the future topiary pot, I apply it in several layers. I let each layer of paint dry thoroughly.
I paint the bamboo skewer, which will serve as the trunk of the topiary, as well as the pot. white:
While the paint is drying, I cut out a motif from a decorative napkin and layer it, leaving the top napkin layer with the pattern for decoupage:
Since I chose a decorative napkin with an asymmetrical pattern to decorate the topiary pot, I cut out one large motif that I plan to completely wrap around the entire pot.
Having applied the napkin motif to the surface of the topiary pot, I apply decoupage glue on top. I try to press the motif tightly to the surface with my brush, but not to stretch it too much, so as not to tear it.
Having covered the entire outer surface of the topiary pot with a napkin, I let the work dry. Then I cover the pot with a layer of glossy acrylic varnish.
The varnish must dry thoroughly. Therefore, I leave the topiary pot to dry for 3-4 hours. And during this time I will have time to tell and show you how to make a crown for topiary.
The frame for the topiary crown will be a deodorant ball. And first I need to secure it on a bamboo skewer, which, as I already said, will play the role of the trunk of a tree of happiness.
I use an awl to make a hole in the ball.
The size of the hole should correspond to the diameter of the skewer, so if necessary, you can widen the hole with a knife or scissors. However, do not make it too wide so that the ball sits tightly on the skewer.
Having dropped a drop of glue from a glue gun onto the blunt end of a painted bamboo skewer, I push the ball onto the skewer until it stops.
The material for making the topiary crown is not quite ordinary, however, like the topiary frame itself. The fact is that the idea to make topiary from roll-on deodorant came to me a long time ago. But for a long time I thought about what to make the topiary crown from. I didn’t want to use felt to make topiary or once again exploit the already pretty boring idea with coffee beans.
Suddenly, in a store, I came across a set of disposable paper muffin tins.
Of course, I couldn’t pass by and bought these bright little molds so that I could bake tiny cupcakes in them with my daughter. But already on the way home from the store, I realized that I could make a crown for my tree of happiness from cheerful multi-colored paper cupcake cups.
I have a frame for the topiary crown made from a deodorant ball ready, and I need to glue paper cupcake liners to it.
Before gluing, I turn each mold with the colored side inside out.
I roll the mold into a cone. I apply a drop of glue to the sharp end of the cone. I glue the first mold to the top of the future topiary. For better fixation, immediately after gluing, I press the mold to the frame of the topiary crown with my finger.
I gradually fill the entire surface of the topiary frame by gluing paper molds different colors in no particular order.
The glue from the glue gun sets and hardens instantly. Therefore, a deodorant ball strung on a bamboo skewer and multi-colored paper baking cups very quickly form such a lush topiary crown:
To prevent the trunk of the tree of happiness from looking bare, I tie a narrow bow at the base of the topiary crown. satin ribbon, the ends of which are pre-melted using a lighter.
I have a pot ready for the topiary, as well as the roots of the tree of happiness. Now you need to take care of the “grass” that usually grows under the trees.
I cut out two identical circles from cardboard and crepe paper, with a diameter slightly smaller than the diameter of the top of the topiary pot.
I glue the crepe paper onto the cardboard and use an awl to make a hole in the middle of the resulting circle.
I string a cardboard circle onto a skewer-barrel, so that its side with glued crepe paper is located on the side of the topiary crown.
I apply a large bead of glue to the tip of a skewer and place the topiary stem into the decoupage decorated pot.
Carefully fill the topiary pot with play dough.
When the pot is filled to the top, I apply glue to the bottom of a cardboard circle threaded on a skewer. I fix the circle, covering the top of the pot and masking the filler placed inside.
Maybe it doesn't look exactly like weed. Therefore, you have the opportunity to show creative imagination when making such a topiary and come up with best option to disguise the contents of the pot.
And as a result of my creative process The result is this small topiary tree, only 20 cm high and with a crown diameter of 8 cm:
As you can see, there is nothing complicated in making topiary. So don't throw away your used roll-on deodorant - now you know that you can use it to make an unusual, original little topiary!
