Master class on a tree of love in the shape of a ball
A bead craft can have the shape of a ball. Let's look at how to make such a design and decorate it with beads.
We will give you an example of a master class on making a love tree that has bloomed.
Creating a wireframe
You need to take four equal pieces of wire. The length of each should be no more than 25 centimeters. You also need to cut a piece of wire about 30 centimeters long. Next, identical rings are made. As for the long piece, it will become a kind of base. All rings must be firmly connected in such a way that a kind of ball is formed. The last circle should be inserted exactly horizontally. Places where there are joints must be firmly connected using aluminum wire. The barrel is created using dense material so that it can be twisted.
Soil for the ball
You can use gypsum as soil. After it has completely dried, you can use green paint. Some needlewomen use unusual stones or seashells as decoration.
Decoration
The trunk must be dense so that it can support the entire structure. To do this, you need to take alabaster and paint it in the desired color.
Next, threads are taken so that their color matches the shade of the ball. First, the threads must be thoroughly wetted and wrapped around the entire workpiece. More experienced needlewomen advise evening out the color by painting. After completing all of the above stages of work, you can begin decorating the ball using beads, decorative stones and beads. You can attach ribbons, bows and other items to the ball. It all depends on the imagination and preference of the needlewoman.
The main condition in creation is pleasure and a good mood. As practice shows, some girls decorate trunks with feathers, whole grain coffee, and other decorative elements.
The final stage of work is coating the product with varnish, as well as applying glitter.
Ideas for making a love tree
What are the possible options that would fit the above schemes?
More experienced needlewomen have in their arsenal a large number of ideas for creating a unique and unusual design. They advise needlewomen to use all their imagination and not be afraid to experiment. Thus, you can make your own master class on making this craft.
Girls can combine ideas with a heart shape, where an unusual plexus of the trunk will be used. The trunk can have large bends, which will give it a special zest and unusualness.
You can complete multiple hearts. For example, create an additional heart against the background of a large heart, which will be small in size. If you give such a product to your husband or a loved one, it can become a symbol that the woman feels safe.
Leaves can be replaced with hearts. Such experiments will definitely please needlewomen, because they put their thoughts and ideas into the tree of love.
A product made from colored glass will be an excellent gift. It can be presented to a loved one, friend or relative. Sometimes such products can be a gift option for a work colleague. In any case, such a gift will be remembered for a long time, because it is quite original and unique.
Beadwork includes a wide range of crafts. Trees made of beads are presented separately in a wide section. Today we present to your attention a beaded love tree, which is sure to become an original, memorable gift for Valentine's Day. Choose the appropriate option and start making a touching surprise.
Required materials:
- red and blue beads;
- wire for beading (you can take it to match the color of the beads, or use the one that is available);
- strong wire;
- colored floss threads or satin ribbons;
- suitable container for planting;
- acrylic paint;
- acrylic enamel;
- plaster (alabaster).
Let's start the master class. To begin with, you need to pour prepared beads of two shades into shallow containers. We make wire pieces 25 centimeters in length. We string 5 pieces of base material of any color onto them and twist them into loops with a couple of turns of wire at the base. The first loop should be located strictly in the center of the segment. We form the rest symmetrically on one and the other side. Thus, one branch contains seven loops or beaded petals (one in the center and three on each side). We twist the resulting loops into a twig, as in the photo. The length of each piece is about six centimeters.
This weaving method is quite labor-intensive and can be simplified a little. For example, having previously made a bead base of a suitable shade, form loops without cutting the wire from the spool. In the photo you see what this option looks like. This method will help you speed up the work of weaving branches and create as many of these details as possible for a lush tree of love.
At the next stage, the master class begins to make large branches. To do this, we take three blanks and make one of them - a larger one, twisting the segments together. In the photo we see the finished version.
We continue this weaving and make eighteen similar branches from blue and red beads. You can do more; as a result, your beaded love tree will look much more magnificent and luxurious than the presented example.
Take a strong piece of wire. This part can also be replaced with a thick cable. From this material we make a heart shape with our own hands. If you took a cable, this will not require additional winding from you. The wire heart will need to be wrapped with thread.
An interesting alternative to floss threads can be the use of satin ribbons of a suitable color. Using this material, we begin to attach the resulting branches to the heart-shaped base we made.
The photo shows how much distance was used to attach the branches. The more blanks you have, the tighter they should fit together. Attach step by step on each side.
As you attach the branches, a picture will emerge that will tell you the need to additionally weave parts for the tree of love.
After making the tree, we proceed to its so-called planting. To do this, take a suitable container. Since the presented tree of love turns out to be quite bright in color, you can decorate the pot yourself to match it.
We apply light red acrylic paint to the pot, over which we glaze it using Bronze acrylic enamel. Decorate the surface of the pot as you wish. In this master class, ordinary circles formed from satin ribbons are glued.
We strengthen the base of the tree with gypsum or alabaster mixture and decorate it with beads, decorative stones or hearts.
Heart shaped tree
We will need:
- beads (you can use glass beads): green, red shades;
- light-colored beads;
- wire: thinner for weaving and stronger for the frame;
- floral tape;
- dye;
- gypsum;
- disposable plate.
Making such a tree heart with your own hands is quite simple, you just need to be patient. As usual, we start the master class with weaving branches. Prepare 40 cm pieces and fold them in half. We collect 8 pieces of glass beads and twist them into a loop. We form the next two on both sides of the central one. And so on we continue to repeat these steps. At your discretion, you can make branches with different numbers of these beaded leaves. In this version there are eight of them. In total we create 28 such blanks.
Having made the foliage for the tree of love, we move on to the flowers. We string 8 pieces of red main material onto a seventy-centimeter length and twist the loop. On top of it we make a second of 15 beads. The number of beads may vary depending on the size chosen. The main thing is that each subsequent turn of beads tightly frames the previous one. The next loop consists of 24 beads. We make an indent and continue weaving four more petals. At the end of the weaving, twist the segments and leave the ends.
Making the middle of the flower. We string one light bead onto a length of ten centimeters and twist the ends under it. We thread this element inside the prepared petals. We create about ten red flowers for our tree of love.
Using thick wire we make a heart and wrap it with floral tape.
The next stage, the master class begins to attach branches at an equidistant distance from each other. We wrap the entire wire base with floral tape. Following the foliage, we add flowers.
We prepare a plaster solution, distribute it on a disposable plate and quickly place a beaded love tree on it.
We paint the hardened plaster with paint of a suitable color, apply a small layer of glue and decorate it with beads or other decor you have.
That's all, the master class is completed, the heart tree is ready. Get creative, change the color of the beads and create your own romantic masterpieces.

DIY love tree made of beads photo and video
Do you want to surprise your loved one with an original and beautiful gift? Give him a tree of love, a symbol of all lovers and loving people. Such an unusual gift can be given on St. Valentine's Day. Valentine's, birthday, wedding anniversary or just as a sign of sympathy for a person.
Typically, the tree of love consists of various compositions with beads, sequins, natural materials, ribbons, sparkles and other decorative details. Master class on making various types
, can be viewed on our website. Most often, such a tree is made in the shape of a heart, but sometimes it can be round or abstract in shape. How you want the tree of love to look depends only on your imagination. You can find many beautiful products on sale, for every color and taste, but these are all soulless industrial crafts. You can invest a piece of your love as a gift to your loved one by making such a tree of love with your own hands. To make it, you can use various materials, but wood decorated with beads will be especially exquisite. The use of wire in work allows you to give such wood any shapes and bends; the work on its production does not require a lot of time and large material costs. The master class below will tell you how to make such a tree.
Materials required for work
First of all, it is a strong wire. It should be strong enough so that it does not break when bent, and not too thick so that it can easily fit into the hole of the beads. To work with it, you will also need wire cutters or pliers.
Working with beads. It should be large enough so that the patterns woven from it are not lost against the background of the tree itself. The tree of love, which represents two intertwined halves of a heart, is usually made in two colors. Blue and pink halves, gold or silver, the color scheme of the beads depends solely on your preferences.
To braid the stems you will need multi-colored wire, since its color range is limited on sale, this master class will use silver and gold wire, they are easy to find on sale. Accordingly, the heart will be made of gold and silver beads. But these colors can be replaced with others if desired.
We also need a stand. For it, you can use a piece of real wood, special flower biomass, beautiful containers or pots. We will use a small pot, which we will then decorate with various details or simply cover with multi-colored beads.
To decorate the trunk, relief acrylic paste, gold and silver acrylic paint will be used. To give it thickness, you need to buy a small piece of braided wire. All these materials can be purchased at any hardware store.
Making leaves for the tree of love
First, we will make strings for the beads, that is, wires on which they will be strung. We cut off a piece of wire with wire cutters and make a circle-shaped bend at its end, it is needed so that the beads do not slip off; we make the same bend at the other end of the wire at the end of the work. We begin to string beads on it to about half the length.
After the beads are strung, fold the wire in half, aligning the ends with the bends, and equalize the amount of beads on both sides. We grab a piece of wire at the beaded end, about 1 cm, and twist it into a loop, twisting it several times, moving the remaining beads to the side. We get a leaf - a loop on a leg. Then, stepping a little to the side, we make another such loop with beads, twisting the wire. We get two loops at a short distance from each other. You can adjust the distance between them yourself. You can also make the number of leaflets - loops as desired, the main thing is that they are evenly distributed throughout the entire wire. Having finished weaving the leaves, cut the wire and remove the excess beads.
As a result, we should get a wire with beaded leaves - a twig. You need to make several of these branches, making them in the same way as the first one. If you want to make your love tree lush, then you need to make at least 5 such branches.
Master class on making a tree trunk
The trunk of the tree must be strong and flexible so that it can be shaped into a heart, since a love tree is, first of all, a tree that is a heart.
You can use braided wire or buy a round flower holder from a garden store and give it a heart shape by twisting the ends together in a figure eight.
Having bent the workpiece into a heart shape, we begin to screw wires with beaded leaves onto it, distributing them evenly over the future trunk. We fasten the branches with silver wire on the side of the heart where there will be silver branches, and gold wire where the golden leaves will be. When screwing the branches, we retreat 1-1.5 cm from the trunk so that the leaves appear on a stalk and do not grow directly from the trunk.
To give thickness to the trunk, we wrap it with braided wire, passing attached branches with beads through the spirals. We run a spiral of gold (or silver) wire over this thick wire.
After the trunk is braided and its ends are secured, it is necessary to secure it above the stand where the tree of love will be “planted.” This is done so that the trunk is directly fixed in the solution and is stable. You can hang it on wooden beams. We fill the base - a stand, in our case it is a pot diluted with water - plaster or alabaster. And we lower the suspended ends of the trunk there. We are waiting for the plaster to harden so that the finished work can be decorated.
Training master – class on wood decoration
After the plaster has hardened, the wood can be given the desired bend and the halves can be aligned so that they form the correct heart shape. To give a natural texture to the trunk, we will make it convex using acrylic relief paste. Add a little acrylic varnish to the paste, mix the mixture and apply it to the trunk using a piece of cardboard or plastic, creating bulges and reliefs of the bark. We are waiting for the trunk to dry completely. We take gold and silver acrylic paint and apply it over the tree trunk, not forgetting to apply silver where there are silver branches, and gold paint where there are gold ones. We also paint the plaster base of the tree in the pot. After the paint has hardened, we straighten the branches of beads, giving splendor to the tree. In addition to the branches themselves, you can hang small bells, beads or other decorative details on the trunk.
Now all we have to do is decorate the pot - the base. Here, too, you can show your imagination. You can cover it with natural dried moss, wrap it with satin ribbons, cover it with rhinestones, beads or sequins, that is, use all the materials that you have on hand. Our heart tree is ready. Now you can pack it in a beautiful box or use transparent packaging, tie it like a bag and decorate it with a bow.
Using this master class on making basic parts for a tree, you can create your own, original trees for various holidays and celebrations.

Products made from beads have always fascinated with their beauty and unusual design. Various bracelets and baubles made of glass balls and tubes gave the girl individuality and emphasized her unique style. It is noteworthy that such decorations originate from ancient times. Then, products made using glass beads and threads had the function of protecting against the evil eye and damage, and served as a talisman against evil spirits. In the 60s of the 20th century, a real hairdressing boom began thanks to the emerging hippie movement. Almost all of the clothes of the “children of the sun” were hung with various beaded ornaments. Even on the wedding day, young people exchanged not rings, but miniature baubles.
Beading is still relevant today. And for beginners in this business, it is considered interesting how to weave wood. Before you start practicing beadwork, you need to stock up on all the necessary items - fishing line, needle, hooks, knitting needles and, of course, the beads themselves. It is worth noting that different jewelry requires different beads. Weaving is recommended to be done on a non-slip surface. To do this, you can lay a tablecloth or a linen napkin on the table.
All beadwork is reproduced in accordance with special patterns. To begin with, it is recommended to choose a lighter one. You should also make sure that there will be enough material to complete the entire product. After this, you need to familiarize yourself with the weaving method, for example, see how to weave a tree. It is possible to make any ornament from beads, but for beginners it is preferable to stick to a simpler one and try to weave a flower. To do this, you will need to have wire, scissors, and beads.
You should start working by threading beads through the wire and securing them. Next, you need to weave the subsequent rows in a similar way, constantly adding one more bead. As you weave, the number of beads will need to be increased - from 2 pink to 5 red, and then, on the contrary, reduced. This is necessary to give the flower symmetry. The flower will also need a middle, which can be completed using a large bead. The last step will be to connect the middle bead and the petals of the flower by threading the wire.

Bead weaving is a very popular type of needlework lately. Many people, not only masters, but also beginning amateurs, show interest in original trees made from beads. It’s really exciting to create a real work of art from a scattering of small beads.
How to make a tree from beads: basic mistakes
Probably, everyone has had this experience where you do everything step by step exactly as the instructions say, but “the dope-cup doesn’t come out,” no matter how much you cry! And all that remains is to look with sadness at the works of the masters. Of course, I don’t want to repeat this experience at all and throw the idea of creating trees from beads to hell. Although, of course, if you continue to study, the experience and knowledge that is so lacking at the beginning will appear. However, it is known that it is better to learn not from your own, but from the mistakes of others.
- Often, beginning needlewomen do not have a clear work schedule. First of all, decide how much time a day you can devote to needlework and only to it, without being distracted by other troubles. Otherwise, the work runs the risk of being unfinished, because the initial enthusiasm only lasts for 2-3 days. Also create a work calendar where you will write not only the time of classes, but also what you are going to do.
- The system is also very important. Do you already have a schedule? Wonderful! Now you just need to systematically adhere to it. If the schedule says: “buy gypsum for the base,” then you need to buy it, and not postpone the purchase until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
- Saving is, of course, good. However, it can also be harmful. Trees made “from what was there” will not always please the eye and give pleasure to the craftswoman. Beads, even if they are preserved in decent condition, often do not fit together, otherwise they would have already been used. It’s better to buy some new beautiful beads, which will be a pleasure to work with.
- Don’t weave the first tree “for roughing” - don’t set yourself up for failure in advance. Think positively, for example, decide in advance to give a tree to someone. And a gift is far from a failure.
- Don't rush! It is important that by trying to do everything at once, you do not get tired or “burn out”, and then it is not a fact that the idea will even see implementation.
It’s especially good if your first work is a beaded love tree. By creating it for a loved one, you will put only positive emotions into it, and the reaction to the gift will pleasantly please you.
Tree of love made of beads
Calling such a craft a tree, however, can be quite arbitrary. However, to create it, the same techniques are used as to create trees, so the name is quite appropriate.
What we need:
- thin wire;
- the wire is thick;
- beads: green, white, cream;
- silk threads;
- gypsum;
- pot.
Work step by step with photos:
We create the basics of the composition. Take a thick wire and bend it into a heart shape. Wrap with silk thread.
We weave rose petals. Each will require 6 pieces. We use the parallel weaving technique. Layout: 1-2-4-6-8, 5 on the sides.
Now we make sepals for roses, 5 pieces for each. Parallel weaving again: 1-2-3-2-1.
By twisting the wire, we weave white flowers. For each rose you will need 1 or 2 pieces.
Now we collect roses from all these components. The composition requires 25 roses.
We wrap the resulting stem with green thread, weave a wreath of roses and wrap it around one of the sides of our tree.
Place the composition in a pot and pour plaster into it.
Decorate the heart and stand as you wish.
