There are several ways to obtain gems:

To increase the level of the stone you need to approach the NPC Stone Upgrade Master Trisa(Tario, 745 695)

insert necessary materials(enhancement stones, immortal crystals, precious crumbs, demonic poison stones, elemental fruits, runes to increase the level of a gemstone)
Note:
- the required materials depend on the level and type of gemstone;
- if the promotion is unsuccessful, only 1 stone out of 3 is lost;
- The higher the level of the stone, the higher the chance of failure.

Gemstone cutting
Cutting a gemstone is adding an additional property to it.
In order to cut a stone, you need to approach the NPC "Regan". You must have with you:
The gemstone you want to cut;

A drill can be crafted using the crafting skill. Press “L” and in the window that opens, select the “Production” tab, then click on the craft icon.

Grinding a gemstone (remove the cut)
Once you have cut a stone, further improvement is impossible. In order to be able to use this stone for further improvement, it is necessary to remove the cut from it. To do this you will need:
Faceted stone;
Sandpaper.
Sandpaper can be made using the Tailoring skill. To do this, you need to click on the “L” and select the “Production” tab, and then click on the “tailoring” icon.
Note - for certain types of sandpaper, a certain level of tailoring skill is required.

Precious baby
Precious crumbs are necessary for combining different types precious stones. Let's look at how to get it!
To obtain precious crumbs you need:
An unnecessary (or not very necessary) gem or fragment of a stone;
Sanding sandpaper.
Purchase sandpaper from the NPC Peddler. And apply it to the stone that you want to turn into precious chips. For one stone you can get up to 7 pieces. precious crumbs (however, more often you should count on 1 to 1).

Gem Conversion
In order to change the type of stone of the 4th level (for stones of the 3rd level and below, everything is the same, only without the frost stone) and higher, you must complete a series simple actions:
1. Find the NPC gem master "Fechin" in Paradise City.
2. Carry an unnecessary type of gemstone. For example: Sapphire 5 lvl.

To polish rough stone, you will need one of the Grinding Stones, which can be purchased from any Peddler.
Pay attention to the description of the grinding stones; they indicate which raw stone can be polished with them.
In order to polish a raw stone, you need to right-click on the grinding stone, then left-click on the raw one. As a result, you will receive one of the precious stones, or a fragment of a stone.
2. Exchange for stone fragments
You can get level 3 stones from the Ormond Stone Exchanger (Tario, 745 710) by exchanging them for a certain number of stone shards. The number of required fragments can be viewed by hovering the cursor over the stone of interest in the store window.
3. Gems chests
When passing through various dungeons, there is a chance to receive Chests of stones of various quality
4. Exchange for Stone Coupons
You can get regular and combination gems by exchanging them for Simple and Elite Gems Coupons. Coupons can be purchased from the Premium Store (V) or won in various lotteries.
Coupons are exchanged at specialized money changers. Simple coupons can be exchanged at Erin (Tario, 709 623), elite ones - at Myurin (Tario, 710 633). You can view the exchange price by hovering over the stone of interest.
5. Premium store
In the Premium Store (V) you can get:
For coupons: Small and Large bag of stones. These bags contain sets of Level 2-3 Special Stones. You can also buy special rubies of levels 1-2 for coupons.
Note: Special Gems are non-transferable and cannot be upgraded/changed.
For bonuses: Shiny stones of Fate and Wisdom, after polishing which you can get various gems of levels 2-4.
6. Other methods
Battle of the Heavenly Chosen: this event takes place 2 times a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 21.00. For participating in it, you can be rewarded with fragments of the stone of the heavenly god, which can be glued into one of the Special Stones of level 4-5. For gluing, you need to buy glue for the stone you want to glue in the Premium Store (section Reinforcement, Stones tab)
Crossing Elves: As a result of crossing elves, there is a chance to get a Level 4-5 Blood Sapphire.
Inserting and removing stones
Inserting stones
Gems can only be inserted into things that have special slots.
To make cells, you will need Drills corresponding to the equipment level.
Drills can be crafted using Blacksmithing.
Crafting requires reinforcement stones and production materials.
In order to make a cell, you should right-click on the drill, then left-click on the equipment in which you want to make a cell.
Important:
1. The maximum number of cells is 5.
2. The more cells there are in an item, the higher the chance of failure.
3. Slots can be made not only on equipment, but also in the elf, as well as in the Stone of the Gods from level 80.
4. Purple drills can be purchased in the Premium Store, or obtained from various lotteries.
Removing Stones
In order to remove the stone you will need Stone Removal
The item to be removed must match the level of the stone.
Removing level 1-3 stones can be crafted yourself using Blacksmithing. For crafting, you will need a Metal Mold, which can be bought from any Peddler, and crystals, which drop out when disassembling items above level 20, as well as when killing mobs.
Removing stones of levels 4-8 can either be purchased in the Premium Store or obtained from various lotteries.
Removal of stones is carried out by a specialized NPC Master of Stone Removal Seamus (Tario, 737 689)
Removing 1 stone requires 1 item to remove the corresponding level and 10 gold.
In order to remove a stone, you need to insert the equipment from which you will remove the stone (1).
After inserting, select the stone you want to remove (2).
Note: If there are 5 level 4 stones in an item, and 5 Stone Removals in a backpack, but you want to remove only 1 specific stone, then you need to deselect the remaining 4 stones. To do this, click on the image of the stones that you want to keep.
To ensure that you are only removing 1 stone, pay attention to the number of items displayed for removal (3).
After confirmation, another verification window will appear in front of you, in which you can see which stone you are removing
If everything is correct, click "OK".
Upgrading Stones
Raising Stone Level
To increase the level of the stone, you need to approach the NPC Stone Upgrade Master Trisa (Tario, 745 695)
In order to get a stone of a higher level, you need to select the stone you want to improve from the list and insert the necessary materials.
Note: If crafting is unsuccessful, only 1 stone out of 3 is lost. The higher the level of the stone, the higher the chance of failure.
Stone cutting
Cutting - adding properties to a stone.
It is worth noting that only ordinary precious stones of the 2nd and higher levels and only 2 types can be cut rare stones: blood sapphire and diamond.
To cut a stone, you will need a Sharpener that matches the level of the stone.
You can craft a sharpener using the production skill - Craft.
To craft, you will need a Metal Mold, which can be purchased from the Peddler, and raw ore.
In order to cut a stone, you need to go to the NPC Stonecutter Regan (Tario, 753 723), select the stone you want to cut and insert the necessary materials.
Note: Faceted stones cannot be upgraded (leveled up).
Changing Stones
Polishing
Polishing allows you to reduce the level of the stone and also obtain precious chips, which are necessary for the manufacture of combined stones.
To polish the stone, you need to buy Sanding Sandpaper from the Peddler.
To polish, right-click on the paper, then left-click on the stone you want to polish.
Important:
1. For one use of sanding paper, the level of the stone is reduced by 1.
2. Level 1 stones disappear after polishing.
3. The amount of Precious crumbs received is random, from 1 to 7.
4. There is a small chance of getting a high-level Precious Piece, which is required to combine stones of level 6 and above.
5. To obtain Precious crumbs, it is recommended to use stones that you do not need.
Grinding (cutting)
To improve faceted stones, you must first remove the cut from them, i.e. make it ordinary.
To do this, you will need sandpaper that matches the level of the stone.
Sandpaper can be crafted using Tailoring.
To craft, you will need Rough Paper, which can be purchased from the Peddler, and Raw Ore.
In order to remove the cut, you need to right-click on Sandpaper, then left-click on the stone you want to polish.
Note: by grinding you can remove not only the cut, but also the combination to the cut level.
Changing the type of stone
In the game, it is possible to change the type of ordinary stone.
To change the type of stone, you need to approach the NPC Gem Master Fechin (Tario, 736 712).
Depending on the level of the stone whose type you want to change, you will need the stone itself, stone fragments, as well as for stones of level 4 and higher, a Frost Stone, which can be obtained either in the Palace of Stars by killing bosses, or in the Premium Store (V).
Note: the type of stone changes to a random one of the same level
Combining stones
You can add properties to stones not only by cutting, but also by combining them.
To create a combination stone you will need a Recipe, which can be purchased from NPC Formations (Tario, 722 702)
In order to create a combination stone, you need to approach the NPC Zolotar Daniel (Tario, 713 682).
Depending on the recipe, you will need the appropriate cut stone and precious stones.
Note: when combined, you get a random stone that matches the recipe.
Enhancing the properties of stone (Engraving)
To increase the bonus from stones in equipment, equipment can be engraved.
There are three types of engraving:
Regular Engraving - improves the characteristics of gems in equipment to level 8, which corresponds to 80% of the bonus of gems. There is a chance of failure. If the attempt fails, the engraving level decreases by 1. Can be purchased from any Peddler or from the NPC Heavenly Coin Changer Jonas (Tario, 719,673).
Excellent engraving - improves the characteristics of precious stones in equipment up to level 8, which corresponds to 80% of the bonus of stones. Chance of success - 80%. Can be purchased from the Premium Store (V) or obtained from various lotteries.
Perfect engraving - improves the characteristics of gems in equipment up to level 10, which corresponds to 100% of the gem bonus. The chance of success is 100%. Can be purchased from the Premium Store (V) or obtained from various lotteries.
To engrave equipment, right-click on the engraving, then left-click on the equipment.
Note: in addition to equipment, you can engrave an elf and a stone of the Gods (from level 80).
Important:
The engraving bonus becomes active only when the engraving level is not lower than the level of the stones inserted into the equipment.
If level 4 stones are inserted into the equipment, then the engraving level to activate bonuses must be at least level 4.
If your equipment contains stones of different levels, the bonus applies only to those stones whose level is equal to the engraving level.
Gems
Gems– rare items that will increase your character’s parameters. The description of each of them says which parameters it will increase when used. The level of the stone determines how strong the added property will be. Gems can only be inserted into things that have special slots.
The total equipment can be 7 cells.
To make the first 5 cells, you will need Drills
, corresponding to the level of equipment.
To do 6 and 7 cell, you will need Eternal drill .
Drills can be obtained:
- Drills can be crafted using Blacksmithing, except for the Eternal Drill.
To create, you will need reinforcement stones and production materials.
- From Chests of Stones;
- Buy in the Premium Store;
- Get from various lotteries;
- Receive during holiday events.
In order to create a cell, you should right-click on the drill, then left-click on the equipment in which you want to create a cell.
Note:
- The more cells there are in an item, the higher the chance of failure;
- Cells can be created not only on equipment, but also in the elf, as well as in the Stone of the Gods from level 80;
- 6 and 7 cells are created with 100% chance;
- Each type of gem can only be inserted into certain types of equipment, these restrictions are indicated in the description of the gems.
