At the beginning of the conversation, the guys watched a presentation on a given topic. The conversation was prepared by artistic director G. G. Ekimenkova. The event turned out to be instructive and exciting. The children learned that violence can be physical and moral-emotional. They recalled incidents from their lives. We found out the reasons for humiliation and the reasons why others are humiliated. As a result, the students came to the conclusion that they need to help both in order to resolve problematic situations.
Then, team games were held in the lobby with the theme “We are in this together,” with each student trying to win the most points for their team. Such games develop in students a sense of community, support, and a desire for common victory.
On October 26, 2017, at the District House of Culture, together with the Prigorsk Library, a lecture was held on the topic: “Live in peace! We are against violence and cruelty against children!”
We looked at the types of violence and how to resist cruelty. We got acquainted with the book edition of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The guys watched an informational and educational film: “The consequences and prevention of violence against children in the family.”
They defused the situation with a psychological game: “Friend’s Elbows”, the guys completed the task, no one quarreled or pushed, everyone walked in a circle, holding their neighbor’s elbow with their elbow. At the end of the event, the children took part in the “Tree of Wishes” event, where they left their wishes against violence and cruelty on paper hearts.
Also, on October 26, at the Kozin House of Culture, as part of the month against cruelty and violence against children, an interactive conversation was held with children on the topic “My family is my protection.”

Nearby are boxes with ribbons - One box with green ribbons symbolizing repentance for their aggressive behavior towards children, and the other with red ribbons, symbolizing their promise to show a kind and tolerant attitude towards children. Parents were asked to tie a ribbon that corresponded to their idea of punishment.
An exhibition of books “The Wisdom of Education” and an information layout “TOGETHER AGAINST VIOLENCE” were displayed. A conversation was held with parents “A world without violence, without worries and tears” and a video clip “Mom Doll” was shown.
After the conversation, the children and their parents played the “Hugs, Kisses” game, and the children gave their parents hearts with wishes made with their own hands!
On October 31, at the Talashkino SDK, as part of the month, the film “SCARECROW” was shown, a feature film for all times about a sixth-grader who managed to survive a clash with meanness and betrayal.

Subject "Childhood without cruelty and violence"
Tasks : reveal the meaning of the concepts of “violence”, “cruelty”, cultivate a negative attitude towards manifestations of cruelty and violence among peers, the ability to resist them, develop the ability to understand and the ability to forgive another person, cultivate moral qualities and values.
Progress of the class hour:
Life is a complex thing, where good and evil, honor and betrayal, humanity and cruelty, violence and love are cleverly mixed. Today we will try to outline guidelines that will help you distinguish between these concepts and choose the right path in life.
Listen to the poem and answer the questions.
He walked down the street and cried quietly...
He walked down the street and cried quietly.
Shabby, one-eared, and with a sore paw.
Hanging tail, unhappy eyes,
And in them a tear trembles like a pearl.
No one around noticed him,
And if he noticed, he grumbled,
And he could also swing a stick.
He ran away when he could avoid it.
He thought sadly: “I’m such a freak.
Well, who would take someone like that to live with them?”
So he walked, walking along the edge of the road.
And suddenly I saw legs in front of me.
Such huge two legs,
Shod in big boots.
In mortal fear he closed his eyes
And the man bent down and said:
“What a handsome man!
And the ear! Sight! Will you come with me?
I'll be very happy.
I don't promise a princess and a palace,
And I’ll treat you to milk and sausage.”
He bent down and extended his palm to him.
It was the first time he held a cat in his hands.
I looked at the sky and thought it was raining.
And this cat was crying with happiness in his hands.
Which people in this poem can be called cruel? How does cruelty manifest itself?
(children's answers)
Compassion for animals is so closely connected with kindness of character that we can confidently say that someone who is cruel to animals cannot be kind. Every cruel person is a weak, powerless and sick person. Strong man there is a person who gives, helps, liberates, loves... (N. Berdyaev)
If a person mercilessly exterminates animals, breaks tree branches, shoots birds, how can one characterize his actions?
Define the concept of “cruelty.”
(children's answers)
CRUELTY - ruthlessness, mercilessness, inhumanity.
To everyone to a normal person I want him to be surrounded by kind people who respect him, so that he doesn’t have to be afraid to go out late at night, so that he doesn’t have to lock his house with strong locks, so that when he meets him on the street stranger, don’t be afraid that he might do something bad to you. But cruelty still exists.
Nowadays, one can often see the alienation of people, the loss of cordial connection, mutual trust and sincerity, and goodwill. Even among members of the same family, there is a noticeable desire to separate, and there is indifference to each other. Indeed, a person’s mood can change. Sometimes we see calm on the faces of our loved ones, and sometimes tears, irritation and even anger. One of the reasons bad mood people can have quarrels and conflicts.
Guys, name me possible reasons conflicts, quarrels: between two or more children, between an adult and a child, between peoples, countries.
(children give examples from their own lives, literature, feature films, television shows)
Let's try to figure out how to do it right and how to do it wrong. I offer you everyday situations, and you two ways of behavior - right and wrong.
Situation 1: When someone accidentally pushed you...
Situation 2: When someone called you a name...
Situation 3: When children argue over one toy...
You see that such situations cannot always end calmly and peacefully. Sometimes there is conflict. It can be as small as an argument or as big as a war. In a conflict, someone always “gains the upper hand” and someone loses, but each participant in the quarrel considers himself right and does not want to give in to the other. So people in anger not only spoil each other’s mood, but can also cause injury and pain. Arises aggressive behavior.
Tell me, what is aggressive behavior? Can children and adults be aggressive?
(children's answers)
Aggressive behavior is an interaction in which one person intentionally causes harm (physical or mental) to another. There are direct and indirect aggression. Direct aggression includes verbal aggression - when they ridicule, call names, use foul language; material – when they extort money or other things, damage personal property; physical - when they fight, push, pull hair. Indirect aggression includes ignoring - non-acceptance in games, conversations. Tell me, have you encountered something similar in your life?
(children's answers)
Imagine that you are constantly becoming the target of aggression. What is the reason for this? What should you do to avoid becoming the target of aggressive behavior?
(children's answers)
Often harmless jokes and games also develop into aggression, why? How to distinguish a game from aggressive behavior?
(children's answers)
Children are often very scared to tell their parents that they are being bullied at school or on the street. They are afraid that the attitude towards them from their classmates will become even worse and therefore remain silent. But sometimes it’s the other way around, the child is offended by the parents – they punish him for bad grades, beat him, call him names. But there are no hopeless situations. Remember that there is a helpline that you can call free of charge and anonymously and talk about what is happening in your life. This phone number is easy to remember - 8-800-2000-122. They will listen to you, give you advice, and help you in difficult situations.
Have you ever been cruel in your life? How did you feel?
Is it possible to help a person get rid of cruelty? How?
Now I ask you to fill out the questionnaire and express your opinion on each issue.

Try to be at least a little kinder, and you will find that you will not be able to commit a bad act.

Discussion of catchphrases:
“Cruelty always stems from heartlessness and weakness”
(Seneca)
“People with merciless hearts are happy about other people’s misfortunes”
Vazha Pshavela
“An angry person is like coal: if it doesn’t burn, it blackens you.”
Anacharsis Scythian
There are no perfect people in life. Each of us has a light side - good and a dark side - evil. “To believe in good, you need to start doing it” - these are the words of Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy
Having done good, a person himself becomes better, cleaner, brighter. If we are attentive to any person with whom we communicate, this will be a manifestation of kindness.
A person should strive to change himself for the better, to live in peace with himself and the world.
We are very different, but we are together. We live in one world, in one country. Guys, never evaluate people, but appreciate them! I really wanted you to never forget about this. Our whole life flows through the heart. The heart can be different: kind, cruel, happy... When a person is kind, you can tell by his eyes. If this person’s eyes are kind, then his deeds are also good. And an evil heart is envy, ill will, bile that eats up the person himself.
May your heart be filled with friendship, kindness, tenderness, mercy, love, sincerity, sincerity and patience. This is the kind of heart each of us should have, and then we will all live in peace and harmony.
Mercy in my understanding -
This is affection, love, compassion.
This is to help a tired mother
This is to visit grandma.
And overcome your resentment,
And forgive the one who offended.
This is to feed the birds and cats.
And water the flowers on the window.
To love everything living in the world,
And regret, and appreciate, and forgive.
Guys, what does the word “mercy” mean to you?
How do you understand the word “sympathy”?
(Responsive attitude towards someone who has misfortune).
May you always be accompanied by:
co - suffering;
co - feeling;
co-action (participation in someone’s affairs to help, support him);
co - knowledge (the ability to be aware of one’s actions and feelings);
connection (connect)
What is kindness
Why, tell me quickly
Is the world becoming kinder?
Because someone is happy
From simple word"Hello!"
And from the laughter of the kids,
And from sun rays,
From snowdrops in the forest,
What will I bring to my mother?
From the birch tree under the window,
What is knocking on the house with a branch?
From the coolness of the stream,
From a colored moth,
And from the rainbow over the river,
And from the firewood crackling in the stove,
Because a friend is nearby,
And from grandmother's hands.
From snowflakes on eyelashes,
And from the fairy tales that we dream about.
And from the smell of lilac,
And from the nightingale's trill.
The world is mysterious, huge,
Look how kind he is.
So come on, me and you
Let's add some kindness to him.
Memo to parents on preventing abuse and violence against children in the family
Before using physical punishment on a child,
STOP!
VIOLENCE- this is the influence of one person on another, violating the constitutionally guaranteed right of citizens to personal integrity (in the physical and spiritual sense).
P.S. Violence does not depend on the education, social status and income of parents.
TYPES OF VIOLENCE:
PHYSICAL- causing injury to a child by beating or wounding in other ways.
MORAL- humiliation of the child’s dignity, verbal insult, abuse, threats against him, demonstration of hostility towards him, as well as humiliation in comparison with other children.
MENTAL- influence on the child’s psyche through intimidation and threats in order to break the child’s will to resist and defend their rights.
SEXY- using children in direct sexual contact or involving them in activities in which the abuser receives sexual stimulation or gratification.
NEGLIGENCE OF A CHILD'S NEEDS- parents or their substitutes do not provide the child with food, shelter, clothing, hygienic conditions that meet his needs, which causes harm to the psychological or physical health child. Also distinguished neglect medical care - disagreement with vaccination and immunization.
In life, children usually experience several types of it simultaneously.
Experts say that physical punishment:
1.Teach the child a lesson in violence.
2. They violate the unconditional confidence that every child needs - that he is loved.
3. They contain lies: by pretending that they are solving pedagogical problems, parents thus take out their anger on the child. An adult beats a child only because he himself was beaten as a child.
4. Physical punishment teaches a child to accept contradictory evidence on faith: “I hit you for your own good.” The child's brain stores this information.
5. They cause anger and a desire for revenge; this desire remains repressed and appears only much later.
6. They destroy sensitivity to one's own suffering and compassion for others, thus limiting the child's ability to understand himself and the world.
What lesson does the child learn from this?
1. The child does not deserve respect.
2. Good can be learned through punishment (it usually teaches the child the desire to punish, in turn, others).
3. Suffering should not be taken to heart, it should be ignored (this is dangerous for the immune system).
4. Violence is a manifestation of love (many perversions grow on this basis).
5. Denial of feelings is a normal healthy phenomenon.
6.There is no protection from adults.
How does repressed anger manifest itself in children?
1.Mocking the weak and defenseless.
2. Fights.
3.Humiliation of girls, symbolizing the mother.
4.Bad attitude towards the teacher.
5. Selecting videos and games that give you the opportunity to re-experience repressed feelings of rage and anger
PREVENTION STRATEGIES
1. SET A GOOD EXAMPLE. Threats, as well as beating, mental pressure, insults, etc. rarely improve the situation. Your child will take your behavior as a model and will learn from you how to deal with anger without using force. Set boundaries. Restrictions teach self-discipline and how to control mutual emotions based on non-violence.
2. IF YOU ARE NOT YOUR CHILD'S PROTECTOR, WHO ARE YOU? The consequences of a child feeling like a failure can include violent acts on his part: fighting, destruction of property, cruelty, and even self-destruction.
3. TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT VIOLENCE ON TV rather than just turning off the TV. Explain to them that most of the violence shown in films is a product created in order to entertain, excite, and keep the viewer in suspense. And that this does not mean at all that such a model of behavior should be applied in your life.
4. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE IMPORTANCE OF THE WORDS “I LOVE YOU.” Children of any age need approval, kisses, hugs, and friendly pats on the shoulder. They want to hear “I’m proud of you!”
5. If you or anyone in your family is feeling lonely, unloved, hopeless, or has a problem with drugs or alcohol, seek help. It is believed that more than half of all violent acts are committed by people who use alcohol or drugs.
BE PROUD OF YOUR DECISION TO USE HELP. THIS IS A HARD DECISION, BUT IT REFLECTS YOUR MATURITY. THIS WILL HELP PREVENT VIOLENCE. PROTECT YOUR CHILD.
The successful formation of a child’s personality and its full development largely depend on various factors, but The influence of family on a person of any age is incomparable in its importance to anything else. The influence of the family is manifested in the creation and maintenance of certain conditions that contribute to the optimal development of the child in modern society. It is in the family that the formation and development of a person’s personality takes place: the necessary skills and abilities are laid, character is formed, and experience in communicating with other people is gained.
The influence of parents on a child's development is enormous. Children growing up in an atmosphere of love and understanding have fewer health problems, difficulties with learning at school, communicating with peers, and, conversely, as a rule, a violation of parent-child relationships leads to the formation of various psychological problems and complexes. Overall modern parent-child relationship differ in complexity and a general tendency at the societal level to neglect parental responsibilities. A particularly alarming point is the frequent manifestation of cruelty in the family, which harms the physical and mental health of the child and his well-being.
Types of liability of persons who abuse children in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
In Belarusian legislation, violence is viewed as a very complex phenomenon, although the criminal law of the republic distinguishes only two types of violence: physical and mental. But further, mental violence is differentiated into threats: murder, causing bodily harm, destruction or damage to property. Each of these types is divided according to intensity into dangerous and non-hazardous to human life and health. In addition, manifestations of cruelty can be intentional or impulsive, conscious or unconscious, expressed in the commission of active actions and inaction. The latter in relation to a child is considered unlawful only in cases where the duty to act is imposed on the person who has committed inaction by law, for example, when evading parental responsibilities or paying alimony.
For violation of children's rights, including in the form of violence, parents, persons in their stead, or other adults bear responsibility not only morally, but also legally, on the basis of administrative, criminal, family and/or civil law. One of the mandatory conditions for legal liability is guilt, the presence or absence of which is decisive when choosing sanctions, for example, in family law. Thus, if the child’s legal representatives are guilty of failure to fulfill their duties, a measure of liability in the form of deprivation of parental rights may be applied to them. If they committed the same actions due to mental illness, then a measure of protection is applied to them, i.e. removal of children without deprivation of parental rights. In addition, when assigning punishment, the nature and consequences of violations of children’s rights, the presence or absence of special duties in relation to a minor, the reasons and motives for the actions of adults, consistency, etc. are taken into account.
Specifically, the right of children to protect their legitimate interests and personality from any type of exploitation and violence is enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Rights of the Child", the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Marriage and Family, the Criminal Code and other normative legal acts as follows.

Child abuse- This is a manifestation of emotional, physical or sexual dominance towards minors.
Sexual abuse of children
Child sexual abuse involves the unlawful involvement of a minor in direct or indirect sexual activity for the purpose of obtaining benefit or satisfaction. Sexual abuse is the demonstration of erotic and pornographic photos and videos to a child.
Signs of sexual abuse may include:
- bruises and abrasions in the child’s genital area;
- detection of sexually transmitted diseases in a child;
- urinary tract infections;
- mental and nervous disorders;
- psychosomatic diseases;
- complaints and confessions of the child;
- a child's sudden interest in pornographic and erotic materials;
- strong self-doubt;
- aggression.
The consequences of the trauma experienced will undoubtedly affect the future life of the child. The imprint of the experience will be reflected in the formation of his personality, worldview, character, physical and mental health. The degree of harm also depends on who committed the crime against the child and how old the child was at that time. The hardest to bear are the injuries inflicted by loved ones.
That is why protecting children from sexual violence, first of all, requires attention from the parents and loved ones of the child. You should not immediately refute your child’s complaints, if any, or forbid your child to speak out and accuse him of lying. Always find time to talk with your child, establish trust relationship and try not to lose this trust on the part of the child. In addition, teach how to recognize dangers, communicate with strangers and always, always tell you about troubles and any strange situations!
Physical abuse of children
It is also a very common phenomenon that affects millions of children around the world. Child abuse occurs most often from loved ones, mainly parents. It may be caused by the child’s poor performance at school or unwillingness to follow parents’ instructions. In the case of small children - their whims, hysterics, crying and disobedience. Due to the fact that most mothers and fathers do not know the rules of raising children, they use violent tactics of influence. Children who have been abused often suffer from depression, have low self-esteem, and often have all sorts of injuries on their bodies in the form of cuts, bruises, bruises, scratches, and other wounds.
Signs of physical abuse may include:
- bruises, cuts and wounds on the child’s body and face;
- the child's fear of physical contact with adults. For example, a child is terrified of even the slightest touch; an attempt to take his hand can result in hysterics;
- passive behavior of the child at school. He suddenly begins to lag behind in knowledge, does not take part in school activities, and refuses to contact others.
The worst thing is that physical violence against a child forms in him the understanding that, thanks to physical strength, anything can be achieved. And this, in turn, leads to the fact that a previously oppressed child grows into a merciless tyrant and, following the example of his parents, begins to achieve everything by force. Any problem that arises on his way, the slightest misunderstanding in communicating with someone will end in a fight. It will be much more difficult for him to build a family, make friends and adapt to society.
If you intervene in time and stop the abuse of a child, there will be fewer consequences after the injury. Timely psychological assistance for children who have suffered from adult violence will help them forget the past and look at the world differently.
Psychological abuse of children
Forms of emotional abuse:
- Pushing the child away.It often happens when a child is unwanted in a family. They show the baby in every possible way that no one needs him; they do not show him love, proper attention, tenderness, or care. They try not to hear him and pretend not to notice him.
- Ignoring a child.If adults' emotional needs are not met, they tend to ignore the child's emotional needs. Reduced interest in the child, and at times its complete absence, indifference and lack of initiative drive the child into sadness, loneliness and depression.
- Isolating the child.Forcing a child to go to his room every time after disobedience, misbehavior and other actions displeasing to parents causes social degradation of the child. If, after the slightest violation of the rules established by the parents, the child has to sit locked up, and a ban is imposed on going out with friends, he gradually degrades and loses the ability to communicate.
- Child exploitation.Children who have been subjected to violence through exploitation are deprived of their childhood, entertainment and joy. They become adults early. Child exploitation involves using a child's powers to perform adult responsibilities, such as housekeeping, parenting younger brothers and sisters, hard physical labor that brings profit.
- Bullying a child.Constant threats from adults make the child fearful and distrustful. As a rule, the baby carries all his emotions and experiences deep within himself and is afraid to tell anyone that he is being threatened. Threats can be of a very different nature - threats to kill, maim, send to orphanage, psychiatric hospital. If the threat is carried out stranger, then sometimes it is enough to tell the child that this or that trick will be known to his parents if he does not do what is required of him.
Remember that every wrong step you take, every carelessly thrown word will forever remain in the heart of a child and will certainly make itself felt, if not immediately, then after many, many years. Love, trust, attention, understanding, tenderness, parental care - this is the protection of children from violence. Remember that your baby trusts you, so don’t let him down, don’t try to break him, it’s better to find the key to his heart.
Project "We are against cruelty"
“I believe the time will come,
the power of meanness and malice
the spirit of goodness will overcome"
V. Pasternak
Relevance of the project
I always want to think and believe that in our family, as in a safe refuge, we can hide from the stress and overload of our hectic world. Whatever threatens us outside the home, we hope to find protection and support in the love of those with whom we maintain the closest relationships. However, for many people, the desire to find family peace turns out to be impossible, since their loved ones are more a source of threat than reliability and security. The child is often the target on whom all the blows fall in families where cruelty to children is common. He is considered special, different from others, either too active or too passive, etc., and he becomes the object of aggression from family members. A child may remind you of a hated relative, ex-wife, may have a flaw that irritates his tormentor, have physical and mental disabilities, and may also be associated with unwanted pregnancy or other events of fundamental importance for an adult.
Domestic violence can take various forms - from emotional and moral blackmail to the use of physical force, and it is the latter that is practiced most often. Child abuse means causing physical or mental suffering to a child.
Children who are maltreated can suffer in many ways. Young children are at particular risk. They cannot grow properly and often have difficulty learning. As a rule, such children have low self-esteem, they bad opinion about yourself and about those around you. They are often scared and aggressive.
Children fail to understand that abuse or neglect is not their fault. They often believe that they are doing something wrong and deserve to be treated that way.
The problem of providing all children with favorable living conditions, development and upbringing, guarantees of a protected childhood, free from cruelty and violence, is one of the main tasks of the state’s social policy.
The urgency of solving the problem of abuse of children and adolescents has increased due to the crisis in the economy, rising unemployment, and the worsening economic situation of many families. In Russia today, child abuse takes many forms, including physical, sexual and emotional abuse, neglect of children, and sexual exploitation of minors. All this has the most serious consequences for the health and development of both the children themselves and the well-being of the family and society as a whole. This problem is complex and painful.
It should be noted that in Russia, until recently, discussing the problem of violence against children, as well as violence against individuals in general, remained a kind of taboo. The topic of intra-family conflicts was closed; it was considered indecent to interfere in family relationships. Only now is society beginning to realize the catastrophic scale of the problem. It has become clear that Russian children, just like children in other countries (and perhaps to a greater extent), are subject to violence in the family, at school, by society and the state, and become victims of national and ethnic conflicts.
IN Russian Federation, as in most developed countries world, one of the significant indicators of the socio-economic development of society is the number of registered cases of abuse of children and adolescents. Russia ranks first in Europe in the number of murders of children and young people - such data was published in the report World Organization healthcare.
In Russia, from 100 to 130 thousand cases of child abuse are registered annually.
In 2012, over 2.5 thousand crimes against sexual integrity against minors were registered in Russia, including depraved acts of adults against young children.
Project goal:
