Story
"Golden Ring" and N. Kadysheva "Be Happy!" "2012 DVD 1) Varenka 2) A path laid out the path 3) Dedication 4) Looking into the blue lakes 5) There was a carriage at the church...
Founded in 1988 by Alexander Kostyuk, a graduate of the Gnessin Music College, who decided to combine folk music (Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian) and modern instruments (synthesizers, electronic drums, electric balalaikas, etc.). Kostyuk invited the best musicians of the Bylina ensemble he led to the Golden Ring (all performers graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music). A little earlier, Alexander decided on the choice of soloist: she was Nadezhda Kadysheva, who had previously worked in the Moscow women's ensemble “Rossiyanochka”. Vladimir Stepanov began writing lyrics for the group.
Since 1989, the Golden Ring ensemble has worked at the Smolensk Regional Philharmonic.
Immediately after the formation of the group, Alexander Kostyuk began work on finding and restoring folk musical instruments. Now the Golden Ring ensemble uses more than seven dozen original instruments in its work, some of which have no analogues in the world.
The team quickly gained wide popularity and began extensive touring activities. The ensemble has performed in the USA, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and Bolivia. Japan occupied a special place in the tour schedule, which the ensemble visited six times (Japanese listeners awarded the Golden Ring ensemble the title of “folk classical”).
At the beginning of 1995, the ensemble's debut album " Am I to blame...", which immediately became a bestseller. The second album, called " A stream flows", turned out to be even better selling - the album spent about ten weeks in the top ten best-selling albums in the distribution network of the SOYUZ studio. Especially for the concert program " sad wind“The ensemble ordered original costumes from the famous Moscow couturier Alexandra Gruzinova, which, according to the designer’s plan, should combine the characteristics of both high fashion, and “nationalities”. With the album " Ah, my destiny, my destiny"(2000) the ensemble was on tour in Germany. The album does not contain actual folk songs: music by the artistic director of the ensemble A. Kostyuk, texts by poets V. Pelenyagre, V. Stepanov, V. Chursov, A. Stefanov.

An excerpt characterizing the Golden Ring (ensemble)
This is what the famous Anna Pavlovna Sherer, maid of honor and close associate of Empress Maria Feodorovna, said in July 1805, meeting the important and official Prince Vasily, who was the first to arrive at her evening. Anna Pavlovna had been coughing for several days; she had the flu, as she said (flu was a new word then, used only by rare people). In the notes sent out in the morning by the red footman, it was written without distinction in all:“Si vous n"avez rien de mieux a faire, M. le comte (or mon prince), et si la perspective de passer la soiree chez une pauvre malade ne vous effraye pas trop, je serai charmee de vous voir chez moi entre 7 et 10 heures. Annette Scherer.”
[If you, Count (or Prince), have nothing better in mind and if the prospect of an evening with a poor sick woman does not frighten you too much, then I will be very glad to see you today between seven and ten o’clock. Anna Scherer.]
– Dieu, quelle virulente sortie [Oh! what a cruel attack!] - answered, not at all embarrassed by such a meeting, the prince who entered, in an embroidered court uniform, in stockings, shoes, with stars, with a bright expression on his flat face. He spoke in that refined French language, in which our grandfathers not only spoke, but also thought, and with those quiet, patronizing intonations that are characteristic of a significant person who has grown old in the world and at court. He walked up to Anna Pavlovna, kissed her hand, offering her his perfumed and shining bald head, and sat down calmly on the sofa.
– Avant tout dites moi, comment vous allez, chere amie? [First of all, tell me, how is your health?] Reassure your friend,” he said, without changing his voice and in a tone in which, due to decency and sympathy, indifference and even mockery shone through.
– How can you be healthy... when you suffer morally? Is it possible to remain calm in our time when a person has feelings? - said Anna Pavlovna. – You’re with me all evening, I hope?
– What about the holiday of the English envoy? It's Wednesday. “I need to show myself there,” said the prince. “My daughter will pick me up and take me.”
– I thought that the current holiday was cancelled. Je vous avoue que toutes ces fetes et tous ces feux d "artifice commencent a devenir insipides. [I confess, all these holidays and fireworks are becoming unbearable.]
“If they knew that you wanted this, the holiday would be cancelled,” said the prince, out of habit, like a wound-up clock, saying things that he did not want to be believed.
- Ne me tourmentez pas. Eh bien, qu"a t on decide par rapport a la depeche de Novosiizoff? Vous savez tout. [Don’t torment me. Well, what did you decide on the occasion of Novosiltsov’s dispatch? You know everything.]
- How can I tell you? - said the prince in a cold, bored tone. - Qu "a t on decide? On a decide que Buonaparte a brule ses vaisseaux, et je crois que nous sommes en train de bruler les notres. [What did they decide? They decided that Bonaparte burned his ships; and we too, it seems, are ready to burn ours.] - Prince Vasily always spoke lazily, like an actor speaking the role of an old play. Anna Pavlovna Sherer, on the contrary, despite her forty years, was full of animation and impulses.
Being an enthusiast became her social position, and sometimes, when she didn’t even want to, she, in order not to deceive the expectations of people who knew her, became an enthusiast. The restrained smile that constantly played on Anna Pavlovna’s face, although it did not match her outdated features, expressed, like spoiled children, the constant consciousness of her dear shortcoming, from which she does not want, cannot and does not find it necessary to correct herself.
In the middle of a conversation about political actions, Anna Pavlovna became heated.
– Oh, don’t tell me about Austria! I don’t understand anything, maybe, but Austria has never wanted and does not want war. She's betraying us. Russia alone must be the savior of Europe. Our benefactor knows his high calling and will be faithful to it. That's one thing I believe in. Our good and wonderful sovereign has the greatest role in the world, and he is so virtuous and good that God will not leave him, and he will fulfill his calling to crush the hydra of the revolution, which is now even more terrible in the person of this murderer and villain. We alone must atone for the blood of the righteous... Who can we rely on, I ask you?... England, with its commercial spirit, will not and cannot understand the full height of the soul of Emperor Alexander. She refused to clean up Malta. She wants to see, looking for the underlying thought of our actions. What did they say to Novosiltsov?... Nothing. They did not understand, they cannot understand the selflessness of our emperor, who wants nothing for himself and wants everything for the good of the world. And what did they promise? Nothing. And what they promised will not happen! Prussia has already declared that Bonaparte is invincible and that all of Europe can do nothing against him... And I don’t believe a single word of either Hardenberg or Gaugwitz. Cette fameuse neutralite prussienne, ce n"est qu"un piege. [This notorious neutrality of Prussia is only a trap.] I believe in one God and in the high destiny of our dear emperor. He will save Europe!... - She suddenly stopped with a smile of mockery at her ardor.
“I think,” said the prince, smiling, “that if you had been sent instead of our dear Winzengerode, you would have taken the consent of the Prussian king by storm.” You are so eloquent. Will you give me some tea?
"GOLDEN RING"
“GOLDEN RING” is a folk ensemble, created in 1989. Its members include: people. art. RF (1999), singer N. Kadysheva, music director A. Kostyuk, keyboards A. Kuredenko, balalaika V. Nadymov, winds A. Siliverstov, drums D. Utenkov. It began with the fact that four recent students - singer Kadysheva, her husband Kostyuk and Kuredenko with Nadymov (all graduated from the Gnessin Musical Pedagogical Institute) - united in 1981 and toured abroad, mainly in restaurants, delighting hearing of foreigners. folk songs. The touring group gradually formed into a permanent ensemble, called the “Golden Ring”. Soon Siliverstov and Utenkov joined them. The ensemble began to gain fame in 1995, with the release of cassettes and CDs. Songs performed by him different nations world - from Russian, Gypsy, Tatar to Japanese, English. In addition to folk songs, the ensemble also performs modern original songs by Yu. Antonov, Yu. Saulsky, A. Morozov, ancient romances, modern compositions by the ensemble members themselves - many songs were written by Kostyuk. “Golden Ring” quickly gained recognition because it has its own “face” that distinguishes it from many other similar ensembles: a combination of electric-synthesizer pop melody with the sound of Russian folk instruments. The ensemble tours abroad a lot - in the USA, Germany and other countries.
Since 1996, the Golden Ring has been transformed into the Folk Song Theater and the ensemble's concerts have turned into a bright show with choreography. Superbly crafted collection costumes also play a significant role in it. Several discs have been released (“Charming Eyes”, 1996, “Ah, My Destiny, Destiny”, 2000, etc.).
Nadezhda Kadysheva. Biography.
Nadezhda was born on June 1 in the small village of Gorki, but all her early childhood memories are associated with the village of Stary Maklaush, Klyavlinsky district, located at the junction of the Samara, Orenburg regions and Tataria; with forests surrounding the village, a river and the high mountain Maklaush. His father, Nikita Mikhailovich Kadyshev, worked as a foreman on the railway, his mother, Anna Andreevna, took care of the house and children.
There was a family legend about the wealth that belonged to the Kadyshevs' great-grandfather and grandfather, but by the time of Nadezhda's birth and childhood, all the wealth lay in five daughters. The mother's health was poor, and the children required attention and strength. There was no wealth in the family, but the children were always cleanly dressed, fed, and sometimes did not notice the need that surrounded them. Nadezhda grew up cheerful, mischievous, and a leader in all games and pranks. Things happened to her all the time different stories: then she would break her head into blood, screwing her skates to her felt boots, so much so that the doctors, fearing for her condition, ordered her to lie down for a long time, and for her this was the biggest punishment. But her father brought her after work chocolates, as a victim, and the sisters - caramels. She was not greedy and willingly traded with them. And the scar remained on his forehead for life. Then one day with younger sister Everyone went looking for “the end of the world.” They walked for a long time through the wheat field, they were tired, Nadya endured it, but Lyuba began to cry. I had to go back. Then she floated down the river in her grandmother’s trough and almost drowned. Then, while playing hide and seek, she jumped into a hole and cut her leg so badly that she had to be taken to the hospital again.
But from an early age I had my favorite game, playing theater. They had never been to the theater, but this miracle awakened imagination and dreams. The artists were Nadezhda and Lyuba. They made “ballroom” dresses from curtains, walked “on their toes” like ballerinas, and sang something. “I will be an artist,” Nadezhda declared to her sisters. They applauded, supporting the performances. But my childhood, albeit poor, but happy from the warmth of my mother and home, suddenly ended. The disease undermined the mother’s health and took her life at the age of 42. Nadezhda was 10 years old. Left with young girls, the father was forced to marry six months later. And the stepmother entered the house, bringing her children and fully justifying this word. Vera was the first to leave, going to work at a factory, then Maria was sent to live with relatives in the North, and Nadya and Lyuba were sent to a boarding school in Bugulma. The father wrote letters, always addressing his daughters as “you” and occasionally sent some money secretly from the stepmother. Life in the boarding school after her home was not easy, and it affected the girl’s character. She became more withdrawn and had to grow up early. No one suspected that she had an excellent ear for music and voice. And suddenly one day in class, when a song competition at the boarding school was being discussed, she, unexpectedly for everyone and for herself, stood up and loudly sang the song “Eaglet”. Her singing amazed everyone, and from that moment on she became the recognized “star” of the boarding school.
The years of studying in the eight-year school flew by. Nadya had to decide how to live further. Maria already worked in the Moscow region, in Lobnya, at the Krasnaya Polyana cotton spinning factory. Nadezhda comes to her, having entered the same factory at the age of 14. At first it was hard: we lived in a hostel, got up early, the work was difficult. But my love for music and singing helped. Her voice resounded in the workshop, where she walked between the machines with a cob of thread representing a microphone, fulfilling numerous requests from “fans,” and the workers did the quota for her. She began to actively sing in amateur performances, people loved to listen to her, and, as they say now, “fans” appeared. She sang “Give me a scarf”, a song by G. Ponomarenko, especially soulfully.
The dream of studying at a music school became persistent. At the age of 18 she went to Moscow to the Music College named after. Ippolitova-Ivanov. It was almost impossible to enroll without musical training. Soloists of folk choirs, Muscovites who already had studies in music schools under their belts, entered. But life has already forged her character. She did not back down, and at the age of 19 she entered the preparatory department, in the class of Nikolai Mikhailovich Tarasenko. I had to study on trains, at night in the hostel, without sleep, and sometimes even without food. But the victory was won. She was accepted into the first year.
A new period in life has begun - student time. She was passionate about her specialty. If there was free time, she quietly slipped into her teacher's class and sat, listening, absorbing all his comments that he made to the other students. The beautiful timbre of her voice, musicality, and hard work began to distinguish her among students, and already in her third year she was invited to join the newly organized professional quartet “Rossiyanochka” at the Moscow concert association “Moskontsert”. This is where it started professional work: rehearsals, concerts, tours. The quartet’s repertoire included folk songs, but in preparation for the competition of pop singers, they included the song by composer Monasypov “White Birds Flew...”, where Nadezhda was assigned a solo. That's when many noticed the young, modest performer, her memorable timbre and something special, touching, hard-won, heard in her voice. Yes, she already had something to say in a folk song. The boundaries of the quartet were already becoming too small for her. She still didn’t know how life would develop further, what her fate would be.
And fate, it turns out, was very close. In the dormitory, where students of music schools and the Institute were housed on different floors. Gnessins, there was a meeting that changed their whole life. Running into the buffet, she ran into a young man, an institute student. It was Alexander Kostyuk. And how something pushed my heart. “He will be my husband!” - she thought. And fell in love. For four years she loved secretly, suffered, melted before our eyes. The desire to be together stimulated the desire to continue studying at the Institute. Gnesins. She entered the department of solo singing in the class of Professor Nina Konstantinovna Meshko. In 1983, Alexander was graduating from college and suddenly suggested going to his family and getting married. She was happy. This dream also came true. Alexander put a gold ring on Nadezhda’s finger. A year later, a son was born, who was named Gregory in honor of his grandfather. And 8 years later, Alexander again put Nadezhda on his finger wedding ring, and this happened in the main Orthodox church in San Francisco at their wedding.
