You will need: yarn from the Troitsk worsted factory "Dream" white (100% wool; 100 g - 250 m) - 200 g, straight knitting needles Nos. 2.5 and 4.

Pattern 1: Knit according to pattern 1. The pattern shows only the front rows, knit the purl rows as the loops look.

Knitting density: 32 p x 27 p = 10x10 cm, knitted with pattern 1, knitting needles No. 4.

Back: cast on 112 stitches on knitting needles No. 2.5 and knit with an elastic band of 4 cm, then continue working with knitting needles No. 4 in the following sequence: chrome, 2 repeats of pattern 1, 1 repeat of pattern 2, 2 repeats of pattern 1 in a mirror image, chrome. Having knitted 24 cm from the beginning of knitting, begin knitting the armhole. To do this, close off 1 x 10 stitches on both sides, 2 x 6 stitches, for a total of 68 stitches. Continue knitting straight. At a height of 11 cm from the beginning of knitting the armhole for the shoulder bevels, close 1x6p on both sides. At a total height of 40 cm, bind off the remaining shoulder loops.

Before: knit like a back, but with a neckline. To do this, at a height of 28 cm from the beginning of knitting, close 2 central loops, then knit separately, decreasing from the inner edge of the neck in every 2nd row 16x1p. Make shoulder bevels in the same way as the back.

Assembly: pin the details onto the pattern, moisten and leave to dry completely. Make seams. Tie the neckline and armholes with an elastic band.

First we need to make a pattern... Actually, don't neglect this part of the process, because the pattern is very convenient. My child, for example, already perceives every fitting as hard labor, and she spends most of the day in the garden and sleeps at night. And you will always have a pattern, drawing or “tip” at hand.

As a basis for the pattern, I took a dress, the style of which suits my daughter very much and I really like it myself.

I am writing down the measurements of the finished dress (this is for orientation and calculation of your knitting density relative to mine)
