Description: This master class is intended for children from 7 years old, additional education teachers, parents and creative people who love to create beautiful and unique things with their own hands.
Purpose: Interior decoration, souvenir, gift, voluminous souvenir, use in classes as teaching material.
This symbol has long had important ideological and religious significance. Rays emanating from one point form an angle equal to 36 degrees. The five-pointed star has always been something of an ideal for everything in the world. The first images of it were found in Uruk, an ancient city that previously belonged to the Sumerian civilization. This means that their age is at least 55 centuries. This sign was also popular in Ancient Babylon: it was used for seals that were hung on the doors of important warehouses. It was believed that the star would protect the contents from theft and damage. Images of pentagrams are also found on Egyptian statues. As Arthur Waite reports in his New Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, the Egyptians called the pentagram “the star of dog-headed Anubis.”
The star is also a symbol of the five human feelings, symbolized by five rays of different colors.
I saw the reflection in your pupils
The stars that shone for us that night.
How reverently I followed the movement
A distant point in the light of close eyes.
I didn’t wish for it, the star didn’t wait for us.
In the meadows, where the grass seems to be waiting for the scythe,
fell from the Creator's cloak onto the summer meadow
And turned into a drop of dew...

4. Watch the movement of the blades while cutting
5.Do not leave scissors open
6. Pass the scissors rings first
7.Don’t play with scissors, don’t bring them to your face
8.Use scissors as intended
Work progress:
Lay the sheets of paper horizontally. We take a ruler and on each color we make markings for stripes 11 mm wide and 29 cm long
We cut out our stripes, their number depends on how many stars we want to make.
Take a strip of paper and make a loop
We wrap the short ponytail, making a knot.
We carefully tighten the knot and press it. You should get an equilateral pentagon.
We wrap the tail on the reverse side. I deliberately made the tail a little longer so that in the photo you could see where we wrapped it. But it’s better to try to make it shorter so that it doesn’t look outside the pentagon. I specifically marked the end of the ponytail with a dot.
Next, turn the product over.
If the tip is longer than the resulting pentagon and looks beyond its limits, tuck the tail a little.
We hide the tail inside the pentagon. Now we begin to wrap the pentagon on all sides with a long strip, trying not to press it too much. There should be at least 10 wraps in total, i.e. Each edge needs to be wrapped twice. This should be taken into account if you change the thickness and length of the strip. With a width of 1.1 cm and a length of 29 cm, the star is 1.5 cm.
We hide the tip under the strip. If it peeks out, we tuck it a little and then hide it. And now our pentagon is ready from which we will make an asterisk.
Now is the most crucial moment! It is at this stage that marriage can occur. We hold the pentagon with two fingers of one hand, and with the nail of the other hand we press on one face of the pentagon, trying to get into the middle of the face. We do the same with the remaining faces.
This is what the stars look like against the background of 50 kopecks :)
These activities develop fine motor skills well. And it’s just very interesting to play with them, fingering them. You can come up with a lot of games with the participation of such stars. For example, teach colors by putting each color in different jars. Or offer a number of stars of the same color, and one star of a different color. And offer to find the “extra” one. Or make a rainbow out of them... There can be a lot of ideas.
These are the stars you can fill any vessel to decorate your interior;)
Stars have always played an important role in our lives. Stars give light, warmth, show direction. Some are born under a lucky star, some make a wish when the star falls, some worship them, and some simply admire them on dark nights. We are all, in fact, children of the stars, because without them we would not exist... This symbol can be found everywhere on Earth. That is why, and also because it is simply beautiful, we will make stars of happiness out of paper.
For this we need strips of paper and a little time. The size of the strips is 1 cm x 23 cm or other sizes with a similar width to length ratio (1:23). Of course, the width can be greater, for example, if you use A4 paper, then with a strip length of 297 mm, its width can be made 11-12 mm.
To determine the size of the future star, you need to multiply the width of the strip of paper by 1.67.
Here are some ready-made calculations (width | length | star size):
- 1,0 | 23,0 | 1,67
- 1,1 | 25,3 | 1,84
- 1,2 | 27,6 | 2,00
- 1,5 | 34,5 | 2,50
Making a star
1-4. Bend a strip of paper around your finger and thread the tip of the paper into the resulting loop. We carefully tighten the resulting knot so that we get a neat pentagon.
5. It is desirable that the tip does not extend beyond the pentagon at all, but if this happens, then simply bend it in the opposite direction (step 5). And it’s even easier - cut off the excess)))
6-8. With the free end of the strip we begin to wrap the pentagon in a circle, in total you should wrap it 10 times in this way.
9-11. If the tip remains, you need to bend it (or cut off the excess) and hide it.
12. Here we have a blank star.
13, 14. Holding the workpiece, press the edge of the star with your fingernail, pressing it inward.
We repeat similarly with the remaining faces. Here you need to act especially carefully so as not to spoil the star.
And now our star of happiness is ready!
Today, we will learn how to make beautiful three-dimensional stars out of paper that can beautifully decorate some elements of your home. This is a simple craft, but even here you need to be extremely careful and attentive. Our instructions will help you make voluminous stars correctly and beautifully!
How to make an origami star?
In order to make a star, we need only one strip of paper, measuring 1.1x29 centimeters. It is better to take colored paper, or cut it out from some fashion magazine, so the star will turn out to be more attractive and beautiful.
Let's get started!
1. We take the prepared strip and make a small loop on one of the edges.
3. Press the knot with your finger so that it is flat. Now let's see if we have an even pentagon, if not, then we redo it.
4. We wrap the remaining tail to the bottom and wrap it around the resulting pentagon.
5. Let's turn our craft over.
6 . We hide the tail inside the pentagon.
7. Now, we begin to wrap our figure with the remaining strip. We wrap it on all sides, and try not to press down the paper too much.
8. We hide the remaining tip of the strip under one of the layers.
9.
Now the most important point, the star needs to be made voluminous. To do this, gently press with your fingers on each face of the pentagon in turn until you get what we want.
That's all, our volumetric star is ready!
VIDEO. Origami star.
Stars have always been considered something magical, mysterious and beautiful. They light the way and point the direction. Someone is lucky to be born under a lucky star. Some people rush to make a wish when they see a shooting star, others like to just look at them at night in clear weather. All people on Earth are familiar with this symbol. Maybe that’s why many people want to make their own little star of happiness, because it’s so beautiful. Now we will try to make a happy star from plain paper.
To work, we need a strip of paper and a little time. In our case, the size will be 1x23 cm. Of course, you can take a strip of any size, but the ratio of length to width should remain the same 1:23 each time. To find out what size star you can get from any strip of paper, you need to multiply its width by 1.67. For example, from a sheet of A4 paper, taking into account the ratio 1x23, it is convenient to cut strips measuring 1.2x27.6 cm. From such strips you can make a star measuring 2 cm.
And so, we begin to fold the star. Wrap the end of the paper strip around your index finger and tie a knot. You need to tighten it and press it so that you get a small figure of an equilateral pentagon.
You need to try to ensure that after tying the knot there is a very small end of the strip left. If this cannot be done, it is better to cut it off or bend it back.
Next, we begin to wrap our pentagonal star in a circle with the long end of the strip, bending it each time along the line of the edge of the figure. With each fold, the strip itself will lie on the next edge on which it needs to be folded.
After 10 similar folds, a short piece of strip should remain. It can be hidden in a nearby “pocket”. The result should be a pentagonal flat figure.
Now you need to try to make the figure three-dimensional. To do this, each edge needs to be slightly pressed inward with your fingers, while simultaneously pulling out the corners. Since the star is very small, you need to be especially careful so as not to accidentally damage it.
If you did everything correctly, then your lucky star should look like this.
Don't be upset if something went wrong and the star didn't work out the first time. Try to start again and for sure this time you will succeed! And when you learn how to do them, it will seem to you that nothing could be simpler.
Recently, the origami technique has gained a huge number of fans.
Meanwhile, origami- this is the ancient art of folding various paper figures without the help of glue and scissors, which has its roots in Ancient China.
Today we will try this technique with an easy master class, folding strips of paper into a charming star, also called an asterisk of happiness. Probably because these stars are very cute, when you look at a whole scattering of these pot-bellied babies, only positive emotions arise. They can decorate the interior, decorate a gift, even make curtains from stars.
Making such beauty is not at all difficult. Be sure to involve the kids in this fun activity. They will really like it, and besides, their fine motor skills will develop.
So, first you need to prepare paper, scissors (a paper cutter), a ruler, a couple of minutes of free time and a good mood).
The paper used is different: regular colored, office, silk, scrapbooking paper, wrapping paper, you can even cut the colored pages of an old magazine, they will also make original stars. There are also special sets on sale with ready-made beautiful stripes for stars.
We cut the paper into strips 29 cm long and 1.1 cm wide. Although other sizes can be used. The width of the stripe determines
the size of our star, and the length should be sufficient to wrap each edge at least 2 times.
Let's start the process:
Making a loop;
- holding the short end, very carefully make a knot;
- tie a knot so that the result is an equilateral pentagon;
- we wrap the short tail on the reverse side and turn the workpiece over;
- if the tip is too long and looks beyond the star, then bend it or trim it;
- now we begin to wrap the pentagon with the long end until the paper runs out;
- we hide the remaining tail in a striped pocket;
Our blank is ready, all that remains is to make it voluminous. To do this, take the pentagon with your left hand, and with two fingers of your right hand we grasp each corner of the star and press down the edge, thereby pressing the side of the pentagon in the middle.
That's all, the star of happiness is ready! Have a good mood everyone!
