The photo of crafts for kindergarten shows the work of children, with the help of which they can express themselves.
Spring theme in children's crafts
Spring is most likely the most positive time of the year, when nature blooms and glows from the warm weather. sun rays, the birds are returning, the trees and the first flowers are blooming.
A child, unlike an adult, reacts especially impressionably to such changes, so in the spring you want to do something new and original.
To implement children's creativity ideas, you can use many available materials: glue, paints, colored paper, empty plastic bottles, unnecessary boxes, different cereals, threads, ribbons, cones, foliage, etc.
The work can be in completely different directions, depending on the material for its manufacture:
Origami in the form of a spring bird
This execution technique only requires the presence of colored paper and a few basic skills.
They turn a sheet of ordinary paper into everything: flowers, birds, animal figures.
The “Bird” craft is quite simple and a child can handle it younger age. For spring birds it will be useful:
- branches from a bush on the street;
- scissors;
- colored paper;
- glue - pencil or PVA.
It is necessary to carefully tie a strip cut from colored paper (about 20 cm long and 2 - 4 cm wide) into a weak knot, so that one side is slightly longer than the neighboring one.
You need to cut out the head and beak from one end, and the tail from the other. The finished bird needs to be attached to a tree branch using glue.
Papier-Mache style
This work technique came from Europe and involves applying small pieces of paper mixed with glue to a certain shape. As an example: an egg for Easter.
You will need the following materials:
- ball;
- colored corrugated paper;
- used pieces of paper;
- wheat flour.
For this craft for kindergarten, the first step is to inflate the balloon, then carefully paste pieces of paper moistened with flour paste on all sides of the balloon. The composition must dry completely within 10 hours.
Pay attention!
Inside the egg you can place plasticine birds or other figures of your choice. On Easter holidays You should put colored chicken eggs in this egg.
Quilling technique
These are crafts made from rolled paper. For a picture of a spring lily of the valley you need to prepare:
- green, blue and white paper;
- thick cardboard;
- glue;
- scissors, tape.
A couple of rectangles are cut out of cardboard onto which the craft will be attached. The contours of the future lily of the valley are drawn on them, then strips of colored paper are twisted using a regular toothpick.
The strips are glued along the contour on the cardboard with the corresponding colors (leaves, stem and flowers themselves). A ribbon is used to knit a bow onto a flower and it also makes a loop on which the finished painting will hang.
Decorating the playground in kindergarten
Crafts for the kindergarten playground will be an interesting unique decor that your child will be happy to put his efforts into.
Live pebbles. You need to prepare materials:
- stones;
- acrylic paint;
- coating varnish;
- tassels;
pencil and eraser.
Pay attention!
The most simple option is the form ladybug. Smooth stones different sizes You must first rinse thoroughly and dry thoroughly. Then apply the outline of a ladybug on it with a simple pencil and paint them with gouache (black, white and red).
To prevent the paint from peeling off, apply a layer of colorless varnish to the painted insect. After successfully completing simple work, you can proceed to more complex animal figures.
Plastic bottles
Plastic bottles are the most popular decoration for garden crafts. Try making a palm tree out of used bottles with your child.
Plastic containers brown you need to cut from the neck side (removing the neck itself) in straight strips to the middle, then fasten them together with a rigid wire - this will be the trunk of the palm tree.
We choose the height individually. We cut and fasten the green bottles in the same way, but there are three or four in total, since in the future they will serve as tree foliage, which is also attached to the trunk of the bottles with wire.
It is preferable to create natural crafts for kindergarten in the autumn season, since nature itself provides a huge selection of materials for children's creativity.
Pay attention!
You just have to try to assemble it and use your rich imagination, using everything that lies under your feet: branches, dry leaves, pine cones, acorns.
You can make an interesting wreath on your head using dry maple leaves, fastened with elegant braid and decorated with beads and bows. Or - a cheerful, perky caterpillar from a row of acorns with legs made of matches.
The child will definitely love the idea of creating his own original crafts, work on which also benefits from developing motor skills, intelligence and increasing mental abilities!
Photos of crafts for kindergarten
Today we offer a selection of ideas and small workshops on the topic of needlework. It will be useful to all those who like to make children's crafts with their kids. For a kindergarten with your own hands, based on the material presented, you can make a lot of interesting things, so our ideas will be doubly useful to those who do this on duty. This refers to educators or leaders of thematic development circles.
We tried to collect as many ideas as possible that could be useful in joint creativity. Sometimes you really want to do something original, simple and exciting with your kids! But offhand interesting options are usually remembered or invented with difficulty - nothing worthwhile comes to mind “on the fly”. It is for this occasion that we offer our selection called “DIY Children’s Crafts for Kindergarten.”
Little artists
As you know, there are no limits to children's imagination. Any most original creative idea will definitely be received with enthusiasm. Making crafts with your own hands for kindergarten children is both entertainment and a useful developmental activity. But before implementing intricate fantasy projects, it’s worth working out simpler options. Sometimes you can squeeze out a lot of creativity from a standard set (glue, sheets of colored paper, scissors and a pencil). And when you look around in search of new means at hand, you will be surprised how much has so far eluded our attention.
You can see examples of such DIY crafts in the photo. Almost anything is suitable as starting material for kindergarten! If we stock up on plastic disposable cups, scraps of fabric, bright threads, plasticine, unnecessary packaging, and sometimes toilet paper, our possibilities will expand incomparably.
DIY children's crafts for kindergarten - the most popular
Applications are the simplest and most accessible creative option for kids. The only “consumables” you need are glue and plain paper (colored and white). The amount of what can be obtained from it is almost beyond enumeration. If you have sheets of cardboard, corrugated or shiny paper, you can make anything - from a bright unusual flower or animal figurine to a carnival mask and a fantasy greeting card.
There are a great many techniques for working with paper. By looking on the Internet or armed with special literature, you will learn a lot about scrapbooking, decoupage, quilling, and origami. It is not possible to describe each of the technologies here due to the sufficient labor intensity and the huge number of proposed options.
Of course, it’s not easy to make DIY crafts for kindergarten using complex technology. And you and I can choose the simplest method - make a paper applique together with the children. All you need for this is glue, a brush, a cardboard base and pieces of bright multi-colored paper sheets.
We will organize an exhibition hall
Having chosen an idea for a future masterpiece under your guidance, little masters will get to work with passion. Before you know it, you'll have a whole collection of touchingly inept images fairy-tale heroes, flowers, people and even, perhaps, your own portrait. Such DIY paper crafts will not only decorate a kindergarten, but also turn it into a kind of art gallery.
If children are bored with working only with pieces of paper, you can diversify it by offering combined materials. A great idea is to make a large piece with the whole group, such as a poster wall panel. In addition to a large piece of cardboard, glue and paper, take buttons, decorative tape and any small items that each of the kids brings from home. Such collective creativity will bring a lot of pleasure to children and will serve as a great idea for decorating a children's room or a gift for mom on March 8th.
Back to nature!
Nowadays it is fashionable to make children's crafts for kindergarten with your own hands in the form of so-called environmental applications. They are usually composed entirely of natural materials. It's about about all kinds of pebbles, shells, dry leaves, different types of bulk cereals, seeds, grains. Such “tools” are environmentally friendly. And how interesting it is to work with them! The small components of our picture are fixed on a sheet or with glue, or with a thin plasticine layer.
Along the way, you will tell children about the properties of various natural materials and the opportunities they open for creativity. Such crafts awaken children's imagination. You will be surprised how much creativity little artists can discover.
There is another technology that can be classified as a type of application. These are DIY crafts for kindergarten from rolled up paper napkins balls. They are very popular among children, and it is not surprising - in the process of creating a masterpiece, napkins not only can, but also need to be crumpled, torn, wrinkled - not like at the dinner table! The material, soft and pleasant to work with, is easily rolled up, and then the intended picture is formed from the blank balls.
From waste material
How many necessary and useful things we, adults, consider to be garbage. But now everything will be different! From yesterday's trash, under your strict guidance, kids will learn to make not just junk crafts with their own hands for kindergarten, but real works of art.
By inviting children to collect scrap materials for creative purposes, you will be surprised at how many new ideas await you. You will be inundated with useful material - torn socks and mittens, empty plastic bottles, disposable forks and even roll sleeves toilet paper. With a little imagination, with the help of children you will have to transform all this trash into original and very cute fabric dolls, bright piggy banks, outlandish animals, vases and original flowers.
A few specific ideas
Having collected a small collection of caps from plastic bottles, as a spring craft for kindergarten, we can make a bright, perky caterpillar with our own hands. The background for it will be a large leaf cut out of a template from green cardboard. We make several blank circles, each with a diameter slightly larger than a bottle cap. These blanks have to be cut out of paper different colors.
We attach the curved “body” of the caterpillar from plastic caps to the green base sheet with glue, then cover each of them on top with a bright paper circle. You can take the larger one from the outermost one - it will be a muzzle with a funny mustache. Glue a pair of legs to the bottom of the caterpillar, which is amusingly curved on the leaf, close to each of the circles.
If the theme of the crafts is “Spring,” you can also make the following with your own hands in kindergarten. We will use cardboard egg trays that we usually throw away to make wonderful flowers. Each cell will serve as the basis of a separate bud. After cutting the packaging, we carefully form flower petals from the resulting cardboard cups using scissors. We paint our products with gouache in bright spring colors. The cores are glued from ordinary paper or the same napkin balls, and the stem will be a piece of ordinary wire.
Plumbing creative
You will be surprised, but such a banal thing as a hollow tube from a used toilet paper roll is also suitable as a material for creativity. If you don’t throw away these cylinders, you can use them to make funny stands for pencils and pens, or, by painting them with pencils and paints, cute funny people. Cardboard cylinders can be covered with ribbons, pieces of fabric or bright paper.
As you know, most of all children love to make all kinds of animals. Anything is suitable as a material for this. For example, you have unnecessary paper cups for cupcakes (they are called wafers). These are excellent preparations for making smeshariki! Their corrugated sides are straightened, painted in desired color, dried and flattened and glued onto cardboard.
The round character is equipped with eyes, ears, nose and tail. In addition to smeshariki, from corrugated circles you can make a ladybug, a bright yellow chicken, a cat or bunny face and much, much more. A child can make such a bright and simple product, for example, for Easter and give it to his parents.
We make chickens and cockerels
Here's another one great idea for group children's creativity. Subject collective crafts could become a bird yard. Cockerels, hens and chicks are cut out of paper according to templates. Each of the body blanks is lined with parallel lines on top, along which frequent slits are made with scissors.
By folding the main part and fixing it with glue, we get a three-dimensional figure. The paper edges cut into “noodles” form scallops, wings and fluffy bird tails. Pre-prepared eyes and beaks are glued to the figures.
Here's another idea - a funny hedgehog made from yarn. If you don't have brown, black or gray, it doesn't matter. Our hedgehog can be bright and even colorful. The threads should be cut into pieces of equal length ranging from 2 to 5 cm in size (depending on the volume of the future craft) and then glued to the paper blank of the hedgehog’s body. The number of wool “needles” should be enough to fill the entire space, without bald spots.
Sunny chick
How can I get other DIY spring crafts for kindergarten (for example, for Easter)? If you have a skein of bright yellow yarn, try making a cute fluffy chicken using the pom pom technique. You will need a needle with a large eye, cardboard, a couple of black beads for the eyes and a small piece of bright red fabric.
Here is a diagram of such a DIY craft for kindergarten step by step. We make two pom-poms (smaller ones for the head, larger ones for the body). Each of them will require a pair of cardboard circles of the same diameter. We pierce holes in the center of them. Having folded the figures in pairs, we wrap them with yellow thread until the inner hole is completely filled. Several turns are laid between the cardboard rings with the same thread to secure it.
The winding is then cut with scissors along the outer edge. The cardboard blanks are no longer needed; we carefully pull them out and remove them. Then fluff the resulting pompom and trim the ends using scissors.
The second one is made in the same way, then the pieces are joined together and completed with a beak and paws cut from a red piece of paper. The eye beads are attached using glue.
Other DIY "Spring" crafts in kindergarten
Is March 8th ahead? Instead of traditional flowers, there is an alternative as a gift for girls - sweet crafts made from candies. Young gentlemen can be involved in their production. However, girls are also quite capable of making it for their girlfriends similar crafts for a kindergarten group with your own hands as delicious souvenirs.
The product can be made in the form, for example, of a ladybug. The body is cut out of a pre-selected piece of polystyrene foam no more than 10 cm thick. The candies must be wrapped. Each of them is decorated with corrugated paper and looks like a separate bud.
The prepared sweets, packaged in bright corrugation, are carefully glued onto the body of the cow, forming a body and wings. We decorate the head with dark paper. To place our sweet products tightly on the surface, you will need at least 20-30 candies. Don't forget to decorate the sweet applique with eyes and antennae.
In general, sweets are a great gift for any occasion. Decorated in the form of an original craft-composition, they can please both fathers and grandfathers on February 23rd. You can, for example, make a military vehicle or a tank. Of course, such a project is beyond the power of children alone - it cannot be done without the help of adults. But if you agree with your mother, grandmother or older sister, you can prepare the original and a solid gift for the men's holiday.
The body of a military vehicle or tank is made of cardboard. A trapezoid-shaped tower is made separately. A large box will serve as the base. Don't forget to include tracks and roll up the paper barrel. You can fasten the elements using a glue gun, and use it to strengthen the internal joints.
Having finished with the base, you can do the most interesting thing - pasting the resulting blank with candies. Before this, the cardboard should be decorated with thin corrugated paper and sweet products in wrappers should be attached directly to it.
The tank tracks are best made from round candy bars. If you take candies in a traditional wrapper with tails, then it is better to glue the protruding parts of the candy wrappers to the “body” of the candies, which will add neatness to the product. The straight sections, as well as the tower, are laid out from square chocolate bars. You can place a sweet medal at the end of each tank caterpillar - it will look very impressive.
Plastic and polyethylene
A separate and very extensive group of materials for children's creativity consists of plastic utensils - all kinds of bottles, disposable plates, etc. There are no limits to the flight of imagination! Disposable plates- excellent material for making toys, carnival masks, small wall panels to decorate the walls of a children's room.
Hard plastic in combination with softer material (for example, plastic bags) will give many ideas for original flower buds, figurines of birds and animals. Here you can use foil and much more. If you are already tired of the flowers, each bottle can be transformed into any figurine you like - a penguin, a frog, a pig or a funny bug.
Working with plastic on their own is still a bit difficult for kids, and will require unobtrusive help from an adult. You should be especially careful when cutting products made from it using scissors. But original craft or beautiful decor As a result of the work done, they can inspire any achievement.
Other "chips"
Don't forget about materials like salt dough or the usual plasticine. You can experiment with the technique of drawing on sand, which can be replaced with semolina, painted in different colors. Wonderful fantasy paintings can be obtained using typesetting techniques using ordinary pencil shavings.
In the end you can just print paper templates, downloaded on the Internet, of which an incredible amount is now offered for every taste, and glue together funny toys with the kids.
You can play, fantasize and create using food products - buckwheat, pasta (preferably large and curly) and much, much more. Try it, don’t be afraid to experiment and you will see for yourself how much joy such joint activities will bring to children, and how the kids’ imagination awakens before their eyes.
Children's creativity and the ability to make things with their hands is one of the factors in the development of a child's abilities and skills. Spring crafts made from plasticine, paper, improvised and natural materials are necessary for acquiring skills, concentrating, and developing the child’s abstract and logical thinking.
In kindergartens and schools, educators and teachers draw with children, work with plasticine, and make themed crafts. If your little one is at home, find time to create together. This will bring you closer, raise your authority, and bring many advantages for the child’s development, and will also be an excellent opportunity for self-expression.

Spring is a colorful time of year that gives birth to bright and cheerful ideas. Children are happy to transfer their impressions onto paper - the most accessible and popular material for children's creativity. In specialized stores there is a large selection of colored, self-adhesive, fluorescent paper, as well as ornamental cardboard and foil, for children’s independent work and activities in kindergartens and labor lessons at school.
Paper is a natural material, the most popular and accessible for crafts using a variety of technologies.
Let's consider popular types of children's creativity that are based on paper:
- origami
- quilling
- applique
- modeling
- cutting out the silhouette (vytynanka)
Spring origami “Bird on a tree”
Origami is a Japanese-style technique that does not require additional materials: only paper, which skillful hands turn into flowers, birds, and animals. A child can use a piece of paper to create interesting figures of animals, birds, and flowers at home or on a walk with friends.
Material for work:
- strips of colored paper 20 cm length, 3 cm width

- scissors
We work with paper:
- Take a strip of paper and make a voluminous knot (photo below)
- Leave the strip on one side longer

Origami is fine, precise work of hands under the control of consciousness. Develops intelligence and creative thinking.
Spring panel “Lily of the valley flower” using quilling technique
Quilling is a technique of twisting paper into different modules using a special device or a simple toothpick. We draw pictures: we attach multi-colored ribbons twisted into spirals or other shapes to the paper base.
Work for children of older kindergarten and primary school age.
Material:
- strips of paper blue, white, green

Spring crafts - appliques, a favorite activity of children. Combining different types of activities (working with a stencil, scissors, glue) forces the child to switch, which does not cause fatigue from the monotony of work.
Three-dimensional modeling: spring craft “Birdhouse”
Volumetric modeling - exciting activity which develops in children logical thinking and initial design skills. Using drawings and templates, the child designs and assembles geometric shapes, houses, cars.
Birds arrive in the spring, and high school children can make their own birdhouse out of wood. This kind of work is beyond the capabilities of small children, but very young children can make a bird house out of paper, preferably under the guidance of adults.
For kindergarten children, parents and teachers make a template, which the children carefully cut out and join along the protrusions (flaps) into a single composition.
We select paper for the birdhouse with a funny spring pattern, we will decorate the house with rhinestones, appliqués, and plant a cardboard bird in it.

To easily navigate the types of plastic material, we divide it into groups:
- Ordinary plasticine: ball, imported, floating, wax
- Modeling mass
- Conditional plasticine: salt dough, clay, modeling paste
Plasticine is an ideal material for spring crafts. To make the chicken we use a container from a kinder and decorate the clearing with applique.
Spring craft “Sunflower” using plasticineography technique
The essence of the work is to create a template along which plasticine is smeared, then the excess is removed, and the finished part of the picture is transferred to the base.
Spring craft-panel for the garden “Spring has come”: drawing from plasticine
Each detail of the picture is made separately and attached to a base, the role of which is played by rough paper. For such work, a template is purchased or prepared in advance - a base with a contour pattern.

The change of seasons and the arrival of the next holidays for all parents whose children attend kindergarten means the need to prepare children's crafts for the garden. Some people find it annoying because they have to spend time that is never enough, but most people welcome the opportunity to be creative and interact with their children. You can give advice to parents and grandparents to stock up on various natural materials during the season, so as not to get into trouble when given an assignment in kindergarten, but to always be fully prepared.
If you go to the sea in the summer, don’t be lazy to collect at least a few pebbles and shells. While walking in the park or in the forest, collect beautiful leaves, prepare twigs, cute driftwood, pine cones, acorns and chestnuts. If you have your own plot, plant decorative pumpkins; they store well and are an excellent material for crafts.
The leaves can be dried between the pages of a large thick book; it is better to heat the cones and nuts in the oven or scald them to disinfect and prevent the appearance of various pests. It's a good idea to save cardboard cylinders from toilet paper and paper towels, a few plastic bottles and their caps. And, of course, put everything neatly in boxes so that you don’t have to look for it all over the apartment later, and the house doesn’t turn into a landfill.
Children's crafts for kindergarten- these are those that a child must certainly do with his own hands. Of course, they will differ in degree of difficulty depending on whether it is a junior group or a preparatory group. On his own, with the help of his parents, the child can make a drawing, a simple appliqué from paper or using autumn leaves, sculpt a craft or make it from plasticine and natural materials, such as pine cones or acorns. Figures of animals or birds are perfect for this.
The drawing does not have to be done using conventional techniques. The same leaves can be used not only as material for applique, but also as stamps. Paint, and not always of the same tone, is applied to the surface of the sheet and then printed on paper. You can make stamps from scrap materials: the bottom of a plastic bottle, Lego parts, a cube or a wooden block wrapped in thick thread - you can come up with a lot.
New Year's crafts for kindergarten are, of course, a wide variety of Christmas tree toys. The technique and material can be very different: paper, fabric, cones and other natural materials, thermoplastic and salt dough, plasticine.
You can even do edible decorations: traditional gingerbread cookies in the shape of a man, gingerbread houses that look great as Christmas decorations. Snowflakes cut out of paper, flat and three-dimensional, made using the quilling technique, garlands, figures of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, various snowmen - it’s impossible to list everything. They appeared not so long ago, but Christmas wreaths made from a variety of materials are becoming very popular.
Crafts for kindergarten, photo which are given in this material will tell you how to use unusual materials, For example, pasta, or plastic disposable spoons and forks. Plastic bottles are already so common for crafts that many things are made from them. Materials for crafts can be wooden clothespins, sushi chopsticks, matches, napkins and much more, if you look around you with an open mind.
Autumn crafts for kindergarten
Autumn crafts for kindergarten can be made in the form of compositions rather than individual products.
