This is the perfect craft for kids of different ages which develops imagination, improves fine motor skills hands, and also develops in the child attentiveness to details.
This is the ancient art of creation different forms using folds, bends and turns. Besides simple method Craftsmen can use two other options for working with paper. Each of them has its own characteristics.
Different ways to work with paper
The assembly of any figure begins with the creation basic forms and models. These include a square, a triangle, a book, a snake, a fish and others. By learning how to do them, you can not only complete your intended work faster, but also improve the quality of the resulting product.
Origami also has several types, which include:
- simple;
- modular;
- classic origami;
- Kirigami.
The first type is creation simple shapes, which are most often used by beginners. This method of creativity can also be used by people with limited movement skills. There are no complicated techniques here, so if you have mastered the basic origami figures, then you should move on to more complex technology.
Modular origami is the creation of shapes using a large number of ready-made modules. This type of creativity has become the most popular, as it allows you to create real works of art. Both volumetric and flat parts can be used for work.
Classic origami is the process of folding one square sheet of paper without the use of scissors or glue. You can use it to make any animals: cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, hare, etc. Children love to fantasize and create a magical origami world around themselves, which will allow them to show their thinking and dexterity.
In contrast, kirigami is created from a sheet of any configuration. A special feature of this type of origami is that it allows the use of special stencils and scissors. It involves the creation of folding postcards, which is carried out according to step by step guide. You can make interesting greeting cards for the New Year and spring baskets with flowers.
Easter model in modular technology
None festive table It’s impossible to do without colored eggs – a symbol of the holiday. Their images in different techniques are a unique way to show your imagination. In order to independently make modular origami for Easter in the form of an Easter egg, you need to strictly follow the instructions for creating the figurine.
Preparing the elements
Each sheet of paper needs to be divided into 32 identical squares, which will later become our modules. And then we cut out each of them. From the resulting squares we put together the parts for the egg.
- Take one cut out square.
- Bend it in half.
- Make a bend line in the middle of the resulting rectangle.
- Fold the corners inward so that the edges of the leaf run along the fold line.
- Turn the workpiece over.
- Fold the bottom corners inward.
- Fold the overhanging edges upward.
The finished module has two corners and two pockets into which other elements will be inserted. To create an Easter egg you will need 96 red, 121 yellow, 48 blue, 96 green and 396 white pieces. When all the preparations are ready, you can begin to form the egg.
Assembling the figurine
We create the first 2 rows of 6 modules each, and then connect them into a circle. The third row consists of 12 elements, which are attached using 1 pocket. The fourth row also consists of 12 modules, which are connected by two pockets in a checkerboard pattern.
We lay out the next row in the same way, increasing the number of yellow parts to 24 pieces. Then there are 2 rows of green modules, and then a row of white ones.
Next row: red and white parts are inserted. Now 1 red element is hung on each corner of the red module, which is connected using 1 pocket. The next row is done similarly, but with white details.
For the next row, we take only 24 white parts, which we connect to form 12 fragments. Then in each element we insert 1 more white blank into 2 pockets.
Now we make a white row of 24 pieces, hanging the workpiece on each corner of the white crown of the previous row. On the outer white blanks - one white module with one pocket. And we connect the middle modules of each fragment with blue parts to make three in each.
On the 2 central parts we put 1 white blank in 2 pockets. 1 white module is put on the outer particles, and 1 red piece is put on the central one. The next row consists of 1 white and 2 red blanks.
Now we hang it the other way around - 2 white and 1 red module. Attach one white piece to each of the 3 crowns of the previous row.
The next two rows consist of 24 green blanks each. In the last row, each yellow module is put on 3 green tops at once.
Well, our egg is ready. If desired, it would be nice to make a stand for it. It can be made using the same modular origami technology.
Origami is the ancient Japanese art of making shapes from paper. You can make more than just eggs for Easter. For holiday gift a chicken, hen or egg basket works great. And in order to revive the animal figures, you can add eyes, nose, etc. to them.
Our ancestors considered the egg a symbol of the birth of the world. Today the attitude towards Easter eggs is not so serious, but it is a tradition to give gifts to each other original gifts Fortunately, I stayed for Easter.
How to make an origami Easter egg?
Easter Egg paper can be assembled from either a rounded end or a sharp one. It’s better to start with a sharp one - then a hole will form at the opposite blunt end, which will be covered with a stand.
The first twenty modules must be reinforced with tape - after all, they bear the heaviest load.
A strip of narrow tape is glued to the module from the reverse side, protecting it from damage.
1. We begin assembling the egg by creating a base, an octagonal snowflake, so we put together modules from cut paper, guided by the picture.
3. Then we take the next three modules and use them to connect the previous four, squeezing their corners into the extreme corners of two adjacent modules.
4. We turn the eighth module (aka the last one) inside out to get an inverted star. You should work with extreme care, do not forget that paper is a very fragile material, one careless movement can ruin all the work done.5. Add four more modules reinforced with tape. We place them between the corners of the base of the snowflake.
7. B next rows we turn on the colored modules, gradually adding their number with each row in accordance with the picture, in our case it is a cross on the rounded part of the egg.
8. When you count 36 modules in a row, it’s time to stop adding and start building the figure in the usual order, like any other. The main thing is to pay attention to the construction of the letters "XB". If you have the skills modular origami are not large, it is very easy to get confused in the drawing, so it will be more convenient if you draw the diagram on a sheet of paper, this will help you complete the drawing without errors.
9. We finish the egg by reducing the number of modules. Now each module in turn (every other) grabs not one, but two modules of the previous row.
10. At the end of the work you get this small hole.
11. And this is what the top of the egg will look like as a result.
12. Notice how much the first modules are stretched. If we had not used tape to strengthen them, they would undoubtedly have torn long ago.
13. Using our hands, slightly squeezing, we give the product the shape of an egg - with blunt and sharp ends.
14. At this stage, the egg is already ready, but we cannot allow this beautiful product to lie disorderly in the sideboard! It is necessary to make an egg stand.
15. This is not difficult to do for anyone who has already collected several figures. For clarity, let's present a picture of the stand from below. Here you can see how to assemble such a stand.
16. Now our holiday souvenir is completely ready! Let's put it on the shelf and wait happy holiday Easter!
